Just wanted to post a warning to those people thinking about becoming a member of 1st National/Convenience Bank. We opened this account about three years ago with the intention to use towards our very small home-based business. A number of issues took place after opening an account. The first issue was not being able to use the mobile app to make deposits for the first three months. This made it impossible to conveniently use when clients paid by check. So, we repurposed this account for our annual HOA dues with the intent of making in-person deposits as needed. Last year, we paid the dues out of the account and intended on replacing it. Due to life's challenges, we didn't utilize the account for 11 months, but the account contained over the minimum requirement of $100 to avoid that fee. The bank assessed an inactivity fee on 5/31/2022 and took $35 without notice. I went to close the account on Friday and was repeatedly told that the fee is stated in the bylaws to have a minimum usage on the account and the corporate office sent a notification about the account activity. We never received this notification from the bank prior to the funds being taken. The bank rep (who happened to be the manager) at Kroger portrayed a "too bad, so sad" flip attitude plus showed NO compassion for the situation or made no effort to apologize for the loss of my money. Out of all my years of banking, 1st National/Convenience Bank seems to take every opportunity to assess a fee to take money from its customers. Don't think I've ever belonged to a more needy bank. Unless you intend to use this bank as your main account (although the inability to utilize any mobile deposits for three months could make that difficult), I strongly suggest finding a better, more customer-oriented bank than 1st National/Convenience Bank

I have been with this bank since 2014 . Great bank till Maria Limon the manager showed up. I am in the vending business with lots of change. 3 out of the last 4 times I have came to deposit change the change machine has been full or marked as needing repair. Funny how after Maria watched my employee carry a heavy bag of change away from the bank. Once she was out of sight Maria said oh do you need to dump change? She said she could remove the down for repair sign. What does that tell you? ? Before Maria every employee was trained to clear coin jams and change the bags when full. Since Maria started she has one person caring for the change machine so it down more than ever. The daily limit is $250 per day. Ever manager before Maria has allowed vendors to go over $250 per day because of the amount of change we produce. This call is strictly up to the manager. She has showed us her power. She has turned this bank into 1st Inconvenience Bank. This goes without saying the bank does not want customers with change. I am one of a few vendors she has done this to. Some how Maria can't seem to keep employees. Wonder why ?............... Here we go again. I brought a bag of change to the bank earlier this week. The change machine says it is out of order and as a has the lock on it at noon. As I am holding this heavy bag change Maria ask do you need to cash in some change? Maybe I should say no I just carry it around for exercise. She said she would take the lock off. At this point I informed her that the machine had a problem from the day before. It took a while to clear the jammed coin due to new employees. After the jam was cleared she sarcastically told me how I need to inform her when there was a problem with the machine. Excuse me I do not work for the bank.... was not there the day before nor do I sit 6' from the machine. 6/5/21 The change machine is rejecting a large percentage of the change. Due to probably being filthy as well as needing to be serviced.. I brought that to their attention a week ago. And nothing has been done. The manager just sits and watches a customers dig their changed out of the reject bin And put it back in the feed bin on the top over and over and over and over. That's more great customer service.

Best customer service ever. They really care about the customer. The manager, Maria goes above and beyond to help the customer. Definitely better than those large banks.

Assistant manager Rqndy Nguyen is extremely rude and unprofessional. Stated the process for cash withdrawals on credit cards had changed 3 months ago but I did a cash withdraw three weeks ago. He was very rude and would not assist with any other options. Staff seems to change all the time. Obviously not a pleasant place to work. Now it is not a place to do business with due to him.

Great staff! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!! If you like to keep your hard earned money in your pocket and not have to be charged $100 in outrageous, ridiculous fees for absolutely NOTHING! Then please go to any other bank then First Convenience Bank! This is by far one of the worst banks!

Calling the federal reserve on this bank. Locks up your money when you need it and calls it updating there system. Really you got to update it every day and lock people out of their accounts.
