GHS turned into Vio. We attempted to cancel twice through a written letter. After multiple attempts we got it done. Or so we thought. Instead of canceling they transferred our account to ADT. It took me days to cancel with ADT (that’s another review for ADT). Vio costed me me money but not importantly my time. Negligent and dishonest company.

Comically Bad. Vio Security sales. Always answers the phone. Vio Customer Service is a black hole of frustrating and poorly trained, incapable call center lackeys who cannot dispatch service to my place of business. They are in the midst of a catastrophic merger and I would avoid VIO as they have no idea who their own customers are let alone protect your home or business assets.

We moved and this company does not service the alarm where we currently moved to. They offered to move the alarm from our previous location but why would I move an inferior alarm system to the home we are at now. They asked us to disconnect the alarm where we were living at previously and have failed to let us out of contract. They are no longer monitoring our home where we were and still will not let us out of contract. Other companies let you out of contract when you move. Beware this one does not! I understand we still have some time left but even then other companies do not charge you for leaving. At least if could work out a solution where we could pay less for letting us out but the amount they want to charge us is exorbitant. We had to move for health reasons and they still don't care. Be careful with this company.

This place is the worst. Never get an alarm system from them. Horrible customer service and response. Please save money and go somewhere else. Horrible alarm system company.

Terrible customer service over the past year we have had two instances where we needed customer support. Both times took multiple attempts to contact. When did finally connect we were told tech support would call back those calls never came. The latest issue has so far resulted in 5 days with out A/C in 100 degree plus weather and still not done. We have canceled and will find a new company.

Words cannot express the disappointment and regret I have with using this company. They are crooks. Lock you into a price, say one thing when selling and it's another in contract!!! Read EVERYTHING! Won't let you out of a contract, even for military. The sales men pressured us big time. Way to expensive! We now have ADT. Great service actually has recording available which VIO charges you extra for, no contract and DID NOT make us finance equipment. Horrible condescending conversations. Don't waste your time here.

Steer clear of this company. It is literally impossible to cancel service, even if not under contract. My contract expired 4 years ago. To cancel now, they required I mail them a typed letter to cancel, then still charged me the next month. When I called to ask why I was still being charged, they said I couldn't cancel until the month of April (since that was the month my original contract began in 2015). It's insane. Why wasn't this said in the first conversation? Not worth the hassle. Literally taking an extra $500 from me to monitor a house I no longer live in.

I am trying to cancel my service My contract will expire 12/4/22. I Sent a certified letter to cancel and I would pay the remaining balance. The certified letter was received 7/25/22 per USPS tracking but I have not received my signed receipt. Today 7/30/22. This company is notarouis for lies . Do not get security through Vio

When I actually connected with a person, the customer service was good. However, when I was texted, repeatedly, through a “friendly reminder,” your name, VIO Securities, was no where to be found. I had no idea whom the link went to so I never opened it. Sometimes your voicemail messages couldn’t be transcribed, so I did not know from whom those came.

Customer service is horrible and they will make your rate go up unless you sign a contract for several years. Currently stuck with a 3-year contract.

Worst Company EVER. RUN AWAY FROM THEM.. They refuse to refund payments made to account of deceased person long after the death certificate was provided. They would not allow any cancellation of the contract prior to full payout. Terrible, terrible service.

Had to retain a lawyer .. Dad is 85 years old and locked into a 5 year contract. A security system was sold to him but never used. Local Authorities confirm that one is not even present on the property .Stay Tuned

Customer service is nonexistent! I do not know how this company has a 4 star rating. I would never steer anyone towards this company. The automatic renewal if you do not cancel on time is fraud and a scam. You will be held to pay it or else. This is home security not a mortgage or a car payment that you are stuck with til the home or car is paid off VIO. If think your service is terrible and we want to cancel we should be able too! Customer service laughing at us on the phone while trying to cancel our service is unacceptable! Customer service remarks.......laughing at you, mocking you, being sarcastic, refused to get supervisor when asked, said they were unavailable, it is like talking to a 6th grader. I could go on and on but what would that accomplish.......

Was promised a local rep that local rep is now gone. They did not complete installation now I’m being charged $75 to finish and complete the installation AFTER paying $1800 for equipment and $42 a month without the service..I simply asked that the $75 service charge be waved and that was OUT OF THE QUESTION!!! They got me I hope you don’t allow the same!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Former employee here, would never recommend paying for this service. It is useless. I would also never recommend anyone working here, they fire you without any warning. No structure at all, employees are always confused and giving customers wrong information because everything is so unorganized. They will most likely end up bankrupt or having to change company name AGAIN because they're so f*cking useless.
