We were told that we need to keep the clothes back in the hanger and put them back after trying in the fitting room. The lady standing outside the fitting room didn’t seem to care about anything. We tried 4-5 items and decided to buy 2 out of those. And when we gave her the clothes. She told us to first put all the clothes in the hanger and then only give it back. She was very rude. I have never seen a person where we need to keep all the clothes back ourselves. Why come to the store then? If there is not going to be any kind of basic service.

This store has the slowest cashiers (or sometimes not enough cashiers) I've ever experienced at these types of stores. I visited other HomeGoods stores during Christmas shopping time, and it was not as bad as here on a normal day.

Both times I've gone they have about 20 employees on the floor, 2 on cashier, and a huge 20+ minute checkout line. I'm not going to shop here.

extremely long lines, terrible wait...only 1 to 2 cashiers..I left the cart with items. I just couldn't wait that long, vey aggravating. Find another TJ MAXX, this location is ill equipped to take your money

Today @4:47 pm I went to go return something I waited in line for ten minutes then went to number 9 the lady was very rude she read a kids book for 5 minutes till she finally helped me didn’t even say sorry or how was ur day and she told me to take the big item out of my bag like isn’t that ur job? And then she said okay the $$ is going back to ur account and she told me what was wrong with the items I said oh i believe it’s broken or maybe I didn’t follow the instructions right. and then she said oh well thx for finally telling me so I can tell them to send it back. Like oh was I suppose to tell u right away? I’m just here for my money. Tj max u need to teach ur employees about respect and kindness.

I’m leaving this review here as this was my experience at this TJ Maxx today.I’d like to place a formal complaint and would like a response confirming action will be taken. I went to do a return at the TJ Maxx store located in Irving TX off MacArthur (zip code 75063) and had a horrible experience. This incident happened today around 9:45 am, my mother and I were treated very poorly by an employee named “Lupita” this employee wasn’t even attending us rather was checking out a customer next to our cashier and chimed in on the interaction between our cashier and us. We were confused at first as to what type of information we were receiving by this individual and thought she was helping our cashier explain the return policy but instead tells us in Spanish “These are the rules and you must obey them”. We were baffled at her speaking to us this way and let her know we were already waiting for a manager and to mind her business as she had a different client right in front of her who she should be helping. She continued arguing with us in Spanish speaking very rude and personally we feel as if she took advantage of speaking poorly to us in Spanish to avoid being understood by the majority English speaking customers waiting. We even let her know she needs to stop being rude and speak professional to us as we are the customer and her exact response was, “She is not there to be professional, she is there to make sales.” We were extremely offended, embarrassed and put off by TJ Maxx as we are loyal card holders and now are questioning returning to this franchise. We were left humiliated, disrespected and embarrassed. Management thankfully was able to respond but we need this individual held accountable and coached trained or if this is not the profession she can handle possibly look for different employment. Walking out the customer behind us stopped us in the parking lot and confirmed she was also astounded at the poor service we received and was confused as to why she chose to argue with a customer in front her the client she was checking out. This service is unacceptable, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and leaving a Google Review as this is the worst service I have received by an establishment ever.

Corporate has the heat on with literally hundreds of people in the store. It was so sweaty. And the lines before Christmas are of course too long. We abandoned our cart because we weren't going to wait in the line when the store was so hot. I feel for the employees who can't leave to escape the heat.

If you wanna buy shoes, DON'T buy them here. Apparently, they will NOT return shoes even if they are in good condition. They will see a small, tiny imperfection and say the shoes was worn and damaged outside. I bought shoes for my mom and her shoe size is 9. I asked 2 associates to check the back of they had size 9s of a specific shoe. They said whatever is out is already out. Strike 1. I got the size 8.5 of the shoe she liked and wanted her to try it. I bought the shoe and came back 2 days later to return it because, guess what, the show was too small for her. I waited for an hour in line (Strike 2) and finally, it was my turn to return it. Then they say there are too many imperfections. I explain that she only tried it on for size and it was bothering her feet (my mom has a bunion). They said due to store policy that they CANNOT return (Strike 3). Well, here is my heartfelt message for such a terrible experience! That is time out of my life that I will have nothing to show for it and will never gain back.

The best of two stores side by side and even though there is a line, the staff is very very awesome at getting people checked out in a few minutes unlike a lot of other stores where the wait to be checked out seems to take forever
