A good night at Hugo's. Our usual local hangout when we have out of town guests.Pork Belly was succulent and such a generous portion for an appetizer.Beef cheek Barbacoa is always one of our FAVs.Pork Tomahawk was cooked to perfection and juicy as was the skate which we love

Good ambience but the food lacked flavor. No one on our table loved their food.. Staff was professional. Overall an average experience at Hugo’s.

The food was spectacular, presentation was good. I was surprised by how well the skate was cooked and the consistency was perfectly on par with my expectations. The flavor was very well balanced. Cochinita pibil was awesome and very very filling exactly as I would have expected. Home made corn tortillas were out of this world. The only complaints I would have, would be that the waiter was quite absent from service when needed and had to request help from several other people throughout the meal. The waiter also did not know the origin of the skate and neither did the kitchen staff that cook it which seemed strange that they don’t know the sourcing of food they serve. I would have expected the service or someone in the staff to know where the food they are serving is sourced. His simple response from the kitchen chefs was: under the sea. Very understated and generic response for such an upscale seeming restaurant. Overall I would return for the food, but service could improve greatly. The place is very loud though.Vegetarian options: A lot of fish dishes.Dietary restrictions: All gluten free menu!Parking: Garage behind restaurant is next.

I have celiac disease and all the food is gluten free! They even had GF desserts! Great place! Definitely heading back! I highly recommend this place if you have celiac disease or some other ailment that you can't have gluten.

Restaurant was beautiful but device was really slow and we were there on a Saturday at 11am in a restaurant where we were the only seated table of 6 and there were 4 people at the bar. The food was inconsistent. Guacamole was great but tacos were subpar and I had the pork shank, which has lots of flavor but was warm to cold by the time it arrived to the table. Everyone said that the CBD margaritas were good but stay away from anything with sparkling wine. One of the party ordered the pineapple basil mimosa and the sparkling used in it was flat so it tasted awful and I ordered the Cava from the wine list which also tasted awful and flat. We decided we would not return.

Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere, even better food, and friendly service. Everything we tried was amazing. The pork belly appetizers were good enough to be a meal on their own, the elote was the best I’ve ever had, and seafood relleno was mind blowing. Don’t forget to try the flan! Not very sweet so all of the flavors stand out.Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing and memorable night out!
