Had a bad experience. I went on a Thursday afternoon and they made me wait for 30 mins and still they weren’t ready. Nobody has all day for a haircut appointment. Could have communicated better and planned schedules better if they are short on staff. Wouldn’t go back here again.

Desi is amazing!!! I had so much fun with her and she made me fall in love with my hair again. This was my first time and first impression and I’m already excited for my next haircut with her. Desi girl you slayed💁🏻♀️

was not happy AT ALL with the overall results of the balayage. showed a picture of how i wanted it and absolutely no highlights nor styled my hair towards the end. left very upset.

Savannah is the absolute best!!! I’ve gotten my hair done by many people throughout the years and I swear she has done the most incredible job on my hair from cut to color, always so patient and literally exceeds expectations, highly recommend!! Shes also extremely cool and laid back :D

Tech was awesome. Color is fantastic. Worked me in next day. They were professional, caring, funny, knowledgeable doing curly hair. The cut look spectacular. Will be doing a lot more business with them.

I would highly suggest people to read this review and the rest of negative reviews first before deciding to choose this place.
Extremely disappointed with the hair color service. The quality of products was so bad that it damaged my hair badly. My hair is damaged a lot now. Also the color did not last at all. Just within few washes my hair color went off, i asked for dark brown the first time i went there. When it was done it looked good. I used color safe and sulfate free hair products only. But the color went off within a month. I called them up and went for a second hair color session. They again charged me. As i wanted to get it fixed so badly I did not hesitate to pay again. So I got my hair colored there twice, paid twice but now again the color is gone. Very disappointed. Will never go back, will not recommend this place to anyone.
Responding to the owner’s comment:
Everyone knows that color would fade. But it will not fade in less than a month.
I got it colored for the second time and paid again for the color to go off again in a month. Have colored my hair before and this was not what happened.
Worst place ever. I am not posting review to get my money back or get it fixed with you guys.
It is so unprofessional of you to not even acknowledge the criticism. Customer satisfaction has to be prioritized. This place is extremely unprofessional.
You guys have many negative reviews which talks about the quality of products in the same way I did. It is my mistake that I did not read through all the reviews before getting in to get my hair colored.
I thought you would at least be professional enough to gracefully accept the negative feedback. Well your response to my review clearly shows that you are not.

Desi & Gabby are amazing!
I had damaged hair and Desi did a great job as she removed all my dead ends and really engaged with me which meant so much to me! So did Gabby, she was really sweet and even offered if I wanted something to drink. I appreciate their great customer service!

What a joke! The girl that did my wife’s hair was supposed to give her a medium length layered hair cut and dye her hair one color. My wife has natural brown hair and she chose a lighter shade of brown closer to chestnut. After taking almost 3 hrs and not cutting the hair as my wife desired the hair color came out brassy reddish color which my wife didn’t want. So after another 2 hrs my wife and I left this mediocre salon. Waste of time and money and my wife is very upset that I even paid for the service! Hope this place gets it together.

Hi all,While i was looking at best haircut salons in and around irving i saw jon david was one of them and decided to go it was in the evening and I regret for going there1) They couldn’t understand what I want2) sides fading was utterly bad3) how much volume of hair at back to the ratio of top / front, they couldn’t set4) I understand that lady took lot of time and patience to do but in reality its pretty bad, I am sorryIn the end they gave me hair shower. I came back so back that there is no Jon David Salon in my google mapsHaircut Cost : $ 35I gave tip so that they will at lest improve in the future.

I was just there and 4 children belonging to 2 hair stylists were present! What happened to hiring babysitters?? 2 were running around and 2 on their ipads... this is sooo unprofessional. Where is management on this behavior? Allowing this is very unfair to children and customers.
