When I went to Journeys a few days ago this employee was already helping me out and everything was going just fine. Suddenly the manager Sebastian kept insisting on helping me, but I was already getting help so I didn’t need any further assistance. I told the manager that it was okay and that the employee was helping me already. The manager looked bothered so he walked away, and throughout the time I was there he kept giving me nasty looks and I felt so uncomfortable because he also kept looking at me up and down. Don’t think I’ll go back to that journeys.

Tried to buy shoes for my son and they were on saleThen it rang up regular price CALLED THE MANAGER AND COULDNT DO ANYTHING (went to grapevine mills mall the next day and the shoes my son wanted were on sale and I got them on sale there)Girls up there are RUDE!!!I said they should take the shoe off because it false advertisement.Marisa and Samantha I think we’re there namesGave me attitudeOne said she would pay the difference but not in a kind way. Basically treating me like I’m broke. In a rudeeeeee way. It’s the principle! If it’s on sale it’s on sale?Girls definitely need to work on there customer service skills because I’ve never been disrespected like that in my life.Stop hiring high school girls with attitudes that are always on their phones and clearly don’t care.Won’t ever set foot at this journeys again!

On March 29, 2021 I went to Journeys in the Irving Mall with a picture of shoes I wanted to purchase for an out of town trip. I showed the picture to the sales rep in the store and she told me that they were out of that shoe in that particular size and walked back to the register and picked up her cell phone like I wasnt even still there but another sales rep that I talked to in the store offered to order the shoes online for me and helped me purchase what I wanted. One representatives customer service was bad but her colleague went above and beyond. Fast forward to 04/13/2021 I proceeded to go to Journeys to return a pair of shoes that did not arrive on time for my trip out of town. As I came upon the store an hour before closing all I could was the gate pulled down and the store was closed and I was puzzled with what was going on. I stood there a few moments and decided to call the number on my receipt as to maybe someone would answer with resolution. I called and noone answered. So I began to walk off and I saw two sales representatives coming from lunch raise the gate and go in so I stopped them and asked what was going on why were they closed an hour before the mall closed down. The sales representative went on to tell me that they closed early because they had inventory to stock and that I should just come back tomorrow and return my merchandise. I have never in my life heard of a customer being told to return the next day because the employees have to put up inventory. I was not in the best mood after this ordeal. An improvement has got to be put in place. This is definitely unacceptable. Very disappointing and frustrating.

I accidentally took my purchases from Famous Footwear and tried to return them here lol! I felt so stupid but the girl that helped me was so sweet about it and helpful. She even gave me amazing advice on where to buy shoes from next time! I ended up purchasing the shoes I originally wanted from Famous Footwear and will be returning my other ones to the correct store. I wish I got her name cause she was just so sweet. I’ll definitely be shopping here again!

Christina was super helpful, she went above and beyond . I called 5 other journey stores prior to calling the Irving locations. Not one of them offered to help me. This location didn’t have the shoes I was looking for either , but Christina went out of her way to locate them. Thank you Christine for having such exceptional customer service skills .

This mall is pretty dead the AMC movie theater us what keeps this mall open. It's pretty old and shabby and really needs to be updated. I do like the fact I can always find a close parking space. I always see security driving around and patrolling as well keeping the mall safe.

Wow....did this place suck. Very light foot traffic, poorly lit, smelled of trash. Kiosk workers are rude. In-store employees are non-engaging, even if you greet them as you walk in the store. Food court is non-existent, parking lot looked like a bombing range. This is definitely a dying mall. Move along...nothing to see here.

The customer service is so bad at this store. Me and my son were in the store and there was a mom and daughter and I think were trying to return or swap shoes and the mom was being nice but she didn't agree with the girl and asked for a manager. The clerk told her no she couldn't talk to a manager and she said no to call corporate office if they have a problem. She told them she was going to call security on them and they weren't even doing anything but asking to talk to a manager. And then that girl told them real loud to get out of her store and they left but the daughter was crying. I felt bad for them and it was embarrasing. And after they left the girl was kind of smiling about it so we left. I feel bad for that family>

This place is terrifying. It's so dark and creepy. It's run down and literally smells like p**** I'm not joking. It smells like actual p**** I've never heard of 3/4 of the stores in this mall. It's almost as if you're walking into a mall that somehow is still open in a post apocalyptic world. I just had my very first and very last visit to this mall which is unfortunate because I just moved right across the street and I thought it was going to be so convenient living right next to a mall.

Remember in the movie Mallrats when they are talking about the good mall and the other mall? Yeah, well Irving Mall has moved from the good category to the other. There's a Dillard's outlet that's not open on Mondays and closes at 7 p.m. There's a Macys, Journeys, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, etc. But then there's a lot of niche stores. There's really big store called Shopper's World that smells like my Nana, not in a good way. There are some good and interesting food options. And there's a fitness club and you can get your taxes done. I'm not sure this place is going to make it much longer, but it's clean and safe.
