For the pharmacy - it was 20-25 minutes for my prescriptions 1 hour ago. Now it's 15-20 minutes more because it's 'so crazy busy.' Funny, I see 1 other person in the vicinity.

They updated the store 6 months ago so I thought I'd try going back & update my review. After multiple visits I've decided that I am still extremely disappointed in this Kroger location!! They added an additional bank of self checkout registers but unfortunately that meant they took away all of the cashiers. Most days there's only one lane open & often I've gone in & found only self checkout open....SUPER inconvenient & difficult to manage with my 2 year old son & a cart full of groceries!!! The store is small & nothing can be done about that but the fact that they only stock the shelves during store hours is stupid & makes it impossible to navigate. The good news is I don't see expired food on the shelves very often & usually just set it on the floor when I do bc the manager explained to me that it was the customers fault it was there bc we were just reaching around the food in front to get the fresher food in the back (no shit, we all know there's expired food on the shelf here & try to avoid buying it!) So, that brings up the fact that the customer service still sucks & if the self checkout lady has to come over & talk to me about wether or not she's wearing a belt while wreaking of stale cigarette smoke again I'm gonna start hurling stale marshmallows at her bc those are always handy & near by there!

If I could give a 0 star I would. Very unprofessional.

Always not stocked. I literally went to the Story location & even the prices were marked different. Management doesn't seem to care if couponers clear out shelves. They can't keep anything on sale stocked. They do not replace weekly tags.

I would give them 5 stars! Overall it is a clean, for the most part stocked up, well managed kroger. The 4 star part is due to the parking lot always full and hard to drive through, and some other issues. I would give them 5 stars for their sales that they have and the woohoo marked down priced food because it's not fresh but definitely good enough to buy and this is a great strategy that helps the consumer that is trying to pay less and the business which is trying to sell all their food and bring in more sales. I love shopping the "woohoo" sections to get very low prices on food. Thanks to that I can afford to eat well and only need to shop here which is really close to my home. I love coming here for the good prices, the selection which luckily meets my needs (especially with the craft beers being sold), and the friendly customer service which is always important and so overlooked. There's a very friendly and knowledgeable (self service pos) cashier there that usually works the night shift and I appreciate him, he's cool.

A busy Sunday morning and ONE checkout lane open??? For the second week in a row??? WTF??? I hate to drive to Tom Thumb, but I will from now on ... it'll be faster than this Kroger and its ONE checkout lane. Besides, this shows a total lack of respect for their customers.

Just like any other neighborhood grocery store, except tonight my husband and I did some grocery shopping and while going through self check out I needed help, I called the employee over and got bitched out for asking for help!! I was shocked by this, so shocked it rendered me speechless! She yelled at me for asking for help! That's your job and your mad bc I interrupted you while you were texting on your phone at work? Wow! As soon as I left I immediately called and informed management. Then to top it all off my husband and I were putting groceries away and started noticing that some of our items had been chewed on I'm assuming by rats. I couldn't believe it. We had bought some items previously and had dismissed the chew marks assuming we were going crazy but today our assumptions had been validated. Crazy! We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.

I love Kroger. I find fresh produce. courteous staff. Fresh deli chicken. the meat dept. is fresh. My family uses the Pharmacy for many years now. the store is always neat and clean. I save over $500 per year with my Kroger card and free coupons in mail. save on gas. Yes. I love Kroger.

Omg these people dropped off my RX at 11am and told them I'd be back to get it around 5:30pm my doctor called in a rx at 1pm and I got a text showing it was ready for pick up at 2:23pm. I remembered I have a meeting to attend in dallas and called to see if I could pick up both rx at 4:30 instead of 5:30 so a hour earlier and I got talked to straight side ways "we told you it would be 5:30" no I told you guys I would come get it at that time and I dropped it off at 11am I would not think it would take more than 5 hours to fill one prescription. She responded with well then come get it and take it somewhere else I said no I'm going to get this and then transfer my business else where and she says that's what I thought!

Horrid service I can honestly say I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. Not to mention slower than snails, turtles, and Christmas combined. God forbid you need them to enter your insurance info they will totally freak out on you and become impatient monsters. The Indian pharmacist is the worst and I’m sure why the staff is allowed to speak to people the way they do! Go anywhere else but here.

Half of the reviews here are about other locations. There's definitely not a Tom Thumb across the street, or we'd go there. We come here for lack of options in South Irving. And while El Ahorro and Fiesta have MUCH better meat and better produce, (quality, freshness, and price), if you are looking for specific items like sugar free coffee creamer or Lean Cuisine, you find yourself at this Kroger. I've been sorely disappointed over and over. I gave 2 stars because I have seen minor improvement recently and know the new manager is trying. They've fired some of the younger, careless, disrespectful employees, like the one who was play wrestling with another co-worker and almost knocked me over when I was 39 weeks pregnant, and then failed to apologize or show any remorse. The parking lot is one of the most anger-inducing, dangerous lots I've ever witnessed. Maybe they need to offer an overflow lot behind the store? I've almost been hit by other cars while in my car and while crossing using the pedestrian crosswalk. My biggest issues / advice: -Stop putting items on sale that require/encourage people to buy SIX or TEN of the item... Because then they are out of stock for the normal people who just want one of the item. So frustrating. I'd rather it NOT be on sale and YES be in stock. Pretty please. -Have the shipping company and stockers be more careful. Never seen so many damaged and messy items actually put out for sale. -Some of the produce is so cold, it is frozen and damaged. Other produce is just old and rotting. And expensive. -It is never acceptable to leave expired items on the shelf. This is/was a huge issue, and I brought it up with the manager. In one trip, I found 4 expired items, and they were all items I needed and hence could not purchase. From Parmesan cheese to La Vaquita Mexican cream to boxed chai tea concentrate (Two YEARS expired) to bread to chocolate syrup for ice cream to salad dressing, check your expiration dates! I've had terrible experiences due to accidentally buying expired items from this Kroger. (Recipe ruined by expired Parmesan cheese; embarrassed at a dinner party by bringing rancid salad dressing.) -Some of the young employees who help bag groceries don't know you shouldn't throw canned goods on top of a bag of tomatoes... But I think mostly those kiddos have been let go by now. -There are often items only available on the highest shelf and pushed very far back. I cannot reach them without climbing the shelf, but during pregnancy, that would not have been wise. So I would stand there looking obviously helpless and trying to grab an employee. They'd walk by, SEE ME, and keep running before I could even ask for help. Never did they stop on their own to offer help. I usually have to ask a kind, tall fellow-shopper for help. One time, I asked a lady in the front to call for help with an item, and it took about 6-7 minutes of me standing there feeling stupid for someone o finally come help. Amber is awesome; now THAT'S a great employee!

While this grocery store is in a convenient location, it continues to disappoint. It begins as soon as you drive in to the limited spaces in the parking lot. My first piece of advice: Park in the first available place you find and be prepared to walk. Then proceed to the entrance, but (second advice piece) pick up a cart because there is no guarantee of a cart or basket. The aisles are narrow. Items are generally in stock. Produce looks good. Store is clean. Now you have you're items. Advice #3: Leave email to check or a Twitter feed to review because you'll have to wait - and that's at self-checkout, 12 items or less, and/or regular checkout. Oh you're getting gas! Review advice #3.
