April 2024 by Mike Erikson
Rooms were simple and clean. The ac was a little loud for me and my room by the elevator had some noise. The room lighting was a little dark until the morning sun which was wonderful when taking a shower in the morning. Otherwise service was wonderful, decent food, an amazing smoked old fashion, and nice pool area. Booth pools were not heated and had a lot of debris when I arrived on April 1, 2024 and the patio furniture was weather worn and uncomfortable but otherwise it was a wonderful stay. Great pillows and comfy bed and crisp clean sheets. I would stay here again for sure!

This place is absolutely beautiful. We even had a little trouble with the room( we booked 3rd party) and the staff was able to accommodate us without any problem. I can't wait to go back and check out the suites.

Very odd room. The bathroom was not very private and the walls were paper thin.Rooms: The bathroom was separated with a barn door but the shower was open at the top so the.others in the room could hear you while in the bathroom. Floors are brushed concrete making it look more modern. It smelled nice in the lobby and did look very nice.

I got a severe allergic reaction to dust mites at this hotel. It is not clean! Others in my group complained of bed bugs, roaming roaches and bugs crawling out of (warm) alarm clocks. I misplaced my key card and they gave me a replacement without a single question. I was so puzzled I tried it again a few hours later, and got a new key card again with no questions asked and no security measures. You just say the room number you want access to. Bar staff were nice, but front desk is awful. Especially the evening crew. Cleaning barged in even though do not disturb sign was on the door. Agree with poor design of rooms and bathrooms that others had posted about. Called the front desk to complain of connecting room neighbor being too loud (tv full blast on) and they said just put a towel by the connecting door. This “industrial chic” just doesn’t work.Rooms: See aboveSafety: See above

It’s 10:10pm and the hotel has music blaring downstairs for a wedding. Do not recommend staying here, especially if you have kids. We’re now an hour and a half past our bedtime because the noise is so out of hand. So disappointing. Front desk said other people complained too, but the music is still blaring.

They stopped honoring Hilton members just because we are airline crew, which changes the whole feel of the property. The cement walls are colder, the tiny sinks are smaller then you would expect jn a hotel. But the showers have awesome shower heads but you are tangled in the cloth curtain the entire time your in there.

The hotel is modern with exposed concrete walls, floors and ceilings like a loft in New York City. The rooms have well laid out sleeping and bathrooms. The space between the desk and bed is a bit tight but it works. The room has a small fridge, iron/ironing board. The bathroom has large shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers and the shower has a rain style head. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The shades slide down and almost black out the room from the sun. The HVAC has a wall thermostat which I was able to set at 66 degrees but it didn't seem to have a continuous fan mode which I prefer. The common area has lots of seating to relax or talk with friends or coworkers. The hotel has a restaurant and bar which both had reasonably priced food. Breakfast is not included with the room but can be purchased made to order or $15 for the buffet which was well made and much higher quality than a free hotel breakfast.

My stay at NYLO Las Colinas Dallas was a mixed bag of impressions. While the lobby workers appeared somewhat unprofessional, the experience improved significantly once I reached my room. The rooms at NYLO are a highlight, offering comfort and modern amenities that exceeded my expectations. From cozy bedding to sleek furnishings, the accommodations provided a relaxing retreat after a long day of travel.Downstairs at the bar, the experience took a positive turn. The food offerings were exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly, crafting delicious drinks that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere.Despite the initial impression from the lobby, the overall experience at NYLO Las Colinas Dallas was positive, thanks to the comfortable rooms and outstanding dining and beverage options offered by the bar.

NYLO is consistent, if nothing else. We've stayed in several over the years and they are reliable. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and polite. My only disappointment was the HVAC police. I prefer a cool room when I'm sleeping. Had the thermostat at 68; never got below 71. Why did it not cool well, you ask? Because the unit wouldn't turn on! The hotel is remotely limiting operation. Overnight it would start, then shut off, never running to cool the room. But at 8am that sucker kicked on and got that room down to 68 in about 5 minutes! You can do better NYLO! I can appreciate environmental concerns, but one hotel in one city isn't saving the world. If it's a new policy NYLO has implemented, they should have the stones to post that information at the thermostat.Aside from the AC issue, this location is not a bad value; I'd stay here again.

Whoever designed the bathrooms really missed the mark. I've seen teacups bigger than the sink. As noted by others the sink's location makes it awkward to use. The shower with only a rain head is hard to fathom. It would have cost Hilton next to nothing to include a handheld sprayer. We had planned a 4 -nite stay but one nite with the funky bathroom had us scurrying over to a nearby hotel with a normal bathroom configuration. Too bad as everything else about the hotel was fine.

Don’t stay here with a guest. The bathroom in the room isn’t completely sealed off from the bed area. By design, the bathroom wall doesn’t go from the floor to the ceiling, so anyone in the bed area can hear EVERYTHING that someone is doing in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom sink is so small that it’s difficult to even brush your teeth over it. The sink is so close to the mirror in the bathroom that you can’t lean your head over the sink without hitting your head on the mirror.

The room was just like the pictures. Wish they had better menu options.

Impossible to use the sink without getting everything wet on and close to the sink area. The sink is so narrow and yet right beneath the mirror with no space for your head to brush teeth or wash face. When you brush teeth, you either hit your head against the mirror so your head is above the sink or not able to position ur head above the sink. Whoever designed this has certainly not thought through the utility of a sink in its most basic function.Do not recommend if you plan to use their sink to brush teeth or wash face. The water pressure in the shower is not that high either.

An amazing hotel with great loft like decor!
