NEVER AGAIN. brought my car to get steering checked. They ended up replacing steering pump, rack and pinion. Everything was good for 8 months until car started making original noise and rack and pinion knocked. Brought to pep for a steering evaluation and check up. They said everything was fine. 2 months later I bring it to another mechanic and the rack and pinion needs replacing again because pep boys did a horrible job, from not sealing anything right to missing installation of basic hardware like clamps. Now I have to pay another rack and pinion replacement. I basically threw away $2200 at pep boys. Never again in my life. The staff is friendly but the work is repulsive.

Fast service, adequate price, comfortable place to wait. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I didn't have to wait to be seen.

Only because you have to select a star. Otherwise, I would rate them ZERO STARS!!
Long story short, I had two NEW tires put on my truck and on the drive home my truck was vibrating...shaking. I couldn't go back because we had been there several hours and they were already closed. I called and Spoke with Luke and informed him of the vibration He said I had to go back so they could look at it. Now remember I work full time Monday through Friday and I can't get away during the week. So I ended up going to a closer location a couple of times and each time they say I need them balanced! Well that DID NOT fix the problem. Plus, each time I went they always came up with something else and had to pay $200 -$350 dollars!!!! So, here I am again with the same issue , and they say well we'll balance them. Granted, I also went to a different shop to have them balanced. The problem was still there. So, they sent a mechanic to drive my truck (we went with him) and low behold...he says it's the tires ?♀️?♀️. But it doesn't stop there...they don't have the tires in and they offer another brand, but he says there is a price difference. I told him I wasn't paying anything and he said well even with the warranty tires I still have to pay because I've been driving on them!!! Now remember. I've been talking to them and I've been to their shop a couple of times and it's a MANUFACTURER DEFECT!!! So I'm being charged for their error!!!! I'VE NEVER USED PEP BOYS AND I WONT EVER!!!! Plus, the wait time is ridiculous...we arrived at 2:30 and it took three hours for them to decide it's the tires!!!! If they would have listened to me a long time ago maybe just maybe I wouldn't have to pay anything !!!! I also plan on contacting their corporate office.

Their customer service was very poor. They didn’t even welcome customers even if customer welcome them and they don’t have enough tools for fix tire. They told me that they don’t have mezzanine to fix my 35 inch tires. ?

This place has great customer service and they are very helpful in explaining what is wrong with your car. I’m not good with cars so for them to explain in detail what needs to be done is very much appreciated.

Previously, I had given this location a favorable review, but of late, their service has gone downhill. My husband and I went today to get our car inspected and ended up leaving because they were scheduled to open at 8 and by 8:30 they still weren't open.

When my wife and I recently visited Pep Boys for a scheduled oil change, our interaction with the manager, Nash, was disappointing and unhelpful. Upon arrival, Nash informed us that he could not locate our service request, which had been booked through the third-party application, Car Advice. Instead of offering alternative solutions or assistance, Nash quickly dismissed our concerns without any further attempt to resolve the issue. As a manager in a customer service-centric industry, I expected a proactive approach that would at least provide us with options to consider while we sorted out the misunderstanding. His lack of initiative left us feeling neglected and compelled us to seek solutions independently, which is not the level of service one anticipates from a reputable service provider like Pep Boys.
Upon returning to the store with a solution provided by Car Advice's customer service, Nash's demeanor was noticeably annoyed, adding to our frustration. Despite it being only 10:30 AM, he informed us that any potential service would not commence until 3 PM, without expressing any empathy for the inconvenience caused by the initial oversight. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Nash's response was curt, simply stating, “I’m just answering your question,” which highlighted a fundamental misunderstanding of his role. Effective customer service should encompass both addressing inquiries and actively facilitating a positive and supportive environment for customers. Nash's apparent disregard for this aspect of his duties not only undermined our trust in Pep Boys but also made us feel unwelcome, an experience no customer should endure, particularly at a managerial level.

I changed two of my back tires here like a week ago. They put different size tires from the front. After my tire replacement there was misbalance while driving and the car was not smooth as earlier. I went there today and told them that the car was not as smooth as earlier after tire replacement but the guy over there responded me rudely saying there is nothing he can do. It was their job to replace the tire and balance the wheels. I left and went to another tire shop and they fixed it and told me that the tire was not placed back properly causing misbalance. I hope the employee over there fix his rude behavior and better take a look at the customer problem rather than verbally saying they cant do it.

Gentleman with long hair at the counter at 1:30 PM today was extremely helpful. Will definitely be doing business here in the future.

I went in to get new tires, and it took 5 hours because the old and new tires were a huge pain to remove and install. I am so impressed with how much work they put in, instead of just turning me away. I could hear the air machine and mallet blows, trying to seat the tires, from the room over for hours.
I am also really impressed with the person manning the front desk (Trey or Troy, I forgot the name). He spoke to both customer and the technicians in a very friendly tone, while also giving realistic advice.
I could also hear the team making honest recommendations to a customer, but I'm not gonna snitch the details.

No one wants to have problems while vacationing, so our flat tire on rental car delayed our trip to see new grandbaby. The only bright event was that Pep Boys was open Easter Sunday and had online appointments available. They were quick and reasonably priced. Thank you Pep Boys.

Cost a fortune to get front brakes done on my Jeep. I wish it would have lasted more than 2000 miles before they smoked like a storm and costing me much more money.

I bought some good year assurance all terrain tires in December 2023 for the 4 tire specials, one of them got ruined while I was driving on 30th and beltline rd in Irving TX this day 03/17/20024, I went to the Pep store boys for the warranty, but the person who helped me wanted to give me the warranty, first he told me that he did not have the tire at that time and then that the tire did not have a warranty, they are garbage because when they sell them they tell you that they do have a warranty
