I personally do not like going into gas stations ..I just like to pay for my gas at the pump and go. Today I needed to go to the ATM. The customer service here was better than I've ever received from a gas station. I ordered a fried Turkey leg while inside and was not disappointed.

One of the best station in town. Their gas prices always lower compare to other stations. I love their chicken and catfish. They keep the store and bathroom clean. Whenever you driving on loop 12 or Irving Blvd then pull over to this station for a quick bite and fillup.

The manager here is very rude. I simply called and asked him a simple question and he proceeded to yell and berate me. This after a lady hung up in my face the first time as she couldn't understand me speaking English to her (She was speaking Spanish).I can't believe RACETRAC would ever let this location franchise under them. I made a call in to the corporate office and I hope to here from Mike Stamper sooner than later.

The food here is horrible black cooking licked his fingers after serving me my food if he can do that in front of me i wonder what he does when no one is looking. I just threw my food in trash. Dirty kitchen area really bad but what can you expect from a gas station building looks to be falling apart

I'd really feel better about giving RaceWay more of a 3.5 star rating. 3 seems too low, 4 seems too high. RaceWay is one of I believe 4 gas stations just off of Loop 12 headed into South Irving. Pros - Gas prices are mostly competitive here. They tend to run a little lower than QT and 7-eleven just up the street. You can definitely see the big price sign if not off the highway, then at least off of Irving Blvd. Occasionally one of the other stations will be lower, but it's not a significant difference - Definitely less traffic than QT or 7-eleven. ESPECIALLY if you're going first thing in the morning for a coffee/snack run. - If you're there around lunch time (wish I knew the dedicated schedule), they actually grill up some pretty tasty food up there. They've got catfish and fried chicken, for sure, as well as some tasty sides (fries, mashed potatoes, greens, etc). I'm unsure of the availability, but I can confirm their fryer works well and makes the breading of the fish/chicken delightful. - Beer and cigarette prices are also competitive here compared to down the street. Cons - Maybe don't come here too late at night or when the sun has set. There can be a rough crowd occasionally. Normally, I lock my doors and don't think twice about it, but we did actually get stopped by a a couple of guys yesterday who wanted to sell us a ladies diamond ring at a "great price". Hmm. Gonna have to go with a pass on that one....... (Conversely, a pro to 7-eleven and QT are how well lit they both are. Even though they certainly have their fair share of shady characters, I feel a little better being surrounded by lights and the occasional patrol car getting his coffee and donut.)

Best fried chicken place in town. Love their spicy chicken and fish. Its a quick stop shop for almost everything you may need at a gas starion. Courteous service, clean bathrooms and organised store. The gas prices are always low, especially lower than the QT next light.
