I recommended this salon to a friend to get his hair relaxed. He loved the way his hair turned out, but later chemical burns appeared on his forehead. At first, I thought it might just be an accident the stylist didn’t realize at the time, but now he is also experiencing balding in that area, and his whole scalp is hurting. Burns, pain, and hair loss should never be part of a professional service, and it’s very concerning. We are consulting a dermatologist to determine if the hair loss is temporary or permanent.

So glad I found them. Had very nice experience. Greeted and offered refreshments upon arrival which was so nice. I have long natural hair that had not seen a stylist in over a year. Stylist Katina Rabb assured me I came to the right place. She was so right! The detangling was painless, the shampoo was invigorating and the condition and steam were so soothing. I could almost hear my scalp go "ahh" I had color service too. And get this - there were no offensive chemical smells, no irritation of any kind. My 2-strand twist is so pretty and is perfect for hot weather. I feel like l got a spa treatment for my hair. I am so pleased and will definitely be back.

Wow! I'm so happy I've found a wonderful relaxed and friendly place to go and get my hair done! My Daughter and I both loved the experience!! And we will be back again and again !! We thank you once again it was great!! And we love our hair!!!

Wow. First time at Relaxed and Natural Hair Studio. It’s so beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming there. Their price are inexpensive. I am natural. No perm since early 2020. Was doing my own blowout and my last trim was 2022?? lol. I have not found a great hairstylist whom specializes in natural hair until Katina ?She was so informative, sweet, professional, funny, creative, and understanding . She is officially my new hairstylist. If you are looking for the hairstylist to help you with the health of your hair or just need a touch up, Go See Katina☺️

I moved here from TN and was desperately looking for a good stylist in my area for a haircut. I searched Google and then started looking at the reviews of the different salons. I came across Relaxed & Natural Hair Studio and was immediately impressed with the 4.9/5 rating! ??? I booked an appt for the BIG CHOP haircut. ✂️✂️ I must say that I loved everything about my experience from start to finish! ? KB was very kind, attentive and professional, and she cut my hair exactly as I wanted it. She even suggested hair care products for me to try on my hair. I love the fact that she is the owner and the only stylist in the shop (for now)! ? To me, it helps to keep the salon atmosphere peaceful and pleasant, as it was. I'm truly excited to have found a salon and stylist that I genuinelylike! ?? I'm glad to say that I am a new, happy and satisfied client, and I will surely be back. ? KB, you ROCK! ?? Kombetta is a natural and very professional. She has been my stylist for over 10 years. When moved to the area I went to 3 other salons before I found her. Her coloring skills are superb. I have been a faithful weekly client of Relaxed and Natural Hair Studios for 10+ years and can say without hesitation this salon is far superior than all others.When I first started coming to KB my hair was severely damaged due to braids and pregnancy. My former hair stylist had given up on getting my hair back to a healthy state and decided weave would be best, but in my heart I always wanted to wear my natural hair.In my first appointment with KB to my surprise she did not jump into the status quo but instead conducted a FULL consultation and explained to me what we needed to do to get my hair back healthy. It wasn’t before long my hair was completely healthy and I could rock my short hairstyle with my own hair.KB is not just a stylist, she is a woman of God who cares for every person who sits in her chair. Anytime you enter into the salon you can feel the positive presence she possess which allows her to be a BOMB stylist! I tried many times to schedule an appointment online like I was advised to do. Each time I scheduled and paid the deposit my appointment was denied/cancelled. Very disappointed, I was excited to support a black owned business but unfortunately was not allowed the opportunity to do so.

Ms. Miles does wonders to the unhealthy hair. Within 2 months I went from having brittle dry breaking hair to having soft strong healthy hair.
