“Exceptional Care and Support for My Little One!

I can't express enough how incredibly grateful I am for the amazing childcare my child receives here! From the very first day, the staff made both me and my little one feel so welcome and safe. The environment is warm, nurturing, and full of learning opportunities that engage and challenge children at every stage.

The caregivers are not only experienced and professional but truly passionate about their work. They go above and beyond to ensure my child feels loved, valued, and understood. I also love that they incorporate a balance of structured activities and playtime, allowing children to develop both academically and socially.

Communication is seamless – I receive regular updates and feel fully involved in my child’s progress. The facility is always clean, secure, and well-maintained, and I feel confident knowing my child is in such caring hands.

I’ve seen such positive growth in my child, and I’m incredibly thankful for the staff’s dedication. It's clear that they’re not just caregivers – they’re partners in my child’s growth, and I couldn’t ask for a better place for them to learn and grow!”

“As a former teacher here, I wouldn’t put my two children anywhere else! This is a great Montessori school that truly prioritizes both education and the well-being of children. The cleanliness, quality of teachers, structure, and academics are unmatched. My daughter has been here since she was 16 months old and is now 3. My son, who is 10 months, just started two weeks ago, and the care and attention he receives in the infant room have made his adjustment so much easier! I’ve looked all over for a school closer to my home, but making the 30-minute drive to Kinwest every day is absolutely worth it.”

“Finding the right daycare was a difficult experience. As we toured daycares, it seemed like every facility was clean, modern, had clear schedules and plans, and everyone had an app to let you check in. But each one we visited was filled with unhappy staff and crying babies.Except for Ms. Bloomingdale's. The owner walked us through to see each classroom and every staff member was happy. Some babies were crying, but overall almost every child seemed to be happy and enjoying their day. I don't know if the ratios are better, but they SEEM so much better. It feels like every kid is getting personal attention. We saw kids being dropped off, excited to see their teachers. Everything felt calm and kind, not hectic or urgent. And every room had a teacher who had been employed for several years or more.Every teacher our child has had truly cared for them. Teachers we haven't even met formally yet greet them by name every time we drop off and pick up. The staff is so kind and patient and works so hard to meet us where we are as first time parents and be patient with us as we learn as well.Every time we move up rooms, it feels like such a huge stress. What if they don't like it? What if the new teacher isn't as good? They like their current teacher so much! Yet every time, they love their new teacher and adjust easily to the new routine--because again, the staff here is so experienced and have dealt with every type of child. There are rough days, as there are anywhere, but never have I felt like my child wasn't cared for. The peace of mind it brings to know that my child is with this exceptional group of teachers truly made a substantial difference in our lives. I cannot recommend it more--five stars quite frankly isn't enough.”

“Choosing Primrose was honestly the best decision we ever made for our son, and I can't thank them all enough for everything they’ve done for our family. I'll be completely honest – we came to Primrose pretty broken. My son had been at another school where he received zero love or care from his teachers, and it completely shattered him. This little boy who used to be so social and confident everywhere he went suddenly became withdrawn and scared. That previous school took away his sense of safety and trust, and as you can imagine, it took away mine too as a parent. When we made the decision to leave and come to Primrose, I was terrified. How do you trust again after something like that? But wow – they all went above and beyond to earn back our trust, and they didn't just succeed, they became our family. From day one, we felt like we were part of a real community. My son cried every single day at drop-off (which broke my heart), but Ms. Rodriguez (his first teacher) and Ms. Nguyen would immediately pick him up and hold him until he felt better. Seeing that level of care and patience melted my heart every time. Then there were our son’s pre-K teachers: Ms. Mary, Ms. Lara, and Ms. Smith. These three extraordinary women became the hearts of our daily life. They helped him make new friends and, most importantly, taught him how to trust again. Ms. Mary in particular took extra care to build on his strengths. Through creative art projects, circle-time games, and small-group activities, she helped him find his voice again. Her daily updates, our parent-teacher conferences, and her encouraging notes became a lifeline. She celebrated his every milestone, no matter how small, and reminded us that healing happens one step at a time. Their app system is absolutely genius! Being able to see pictures throughout the day was so comforting, especially during those early weeks when I was still worried. Getting updates on what he ate and how much, naptime details, and daily learning reports. The immediate responses from teachers through the app made me feel so connected and informed. Ms. Tobias was incredible during our transition. She reassured me from day one that my son was going to be alright, and she was so right. The incident reporting system they have is fantastic – getting written reports at pickup and phone calls for anything serious eliminated so much stress for me. Ms. Hix's smiling face at pickup became something I genuinely looked forward to every day. And Ms. Jenkins, the owner, showed such kindness – even helping my daughter's Girl Scout troop when she didn't even attend Primrose! The events she organized over these past two years were absolutely wonderful. They gave us parents a chance to connect while the kids had a blast. It really reinforced that sense of community they’ve built. It was a long road helping my son open up after his traumatic experience, but watching him flourish in pre-K with their team's support has been nothing short of miraculous. They didn't just educate him – they healed him. Primrose gave him back his confidence, his trust, and his joy. I know this review is long, but I’d like for parents to know the profound impact this school has had on our family. They took a scared little boy and scared parents and wrapped us in love, care, and genuine concern. They proved that there are still places where children are truly cherished and families are valued. Thank you for being more than a school – thank you for being our village, our support system, and our family away from home. We look forward to seeing everyone again for their summer program.”

“As both a teacher and a parent, I have been incredibly impressed with Shady Grove Learning Center over the past four years. From the very beginning, their level of organization and responsibility has stood out. The staff consistently demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
Whenever I have had concerns, I’ve always felt confident that they listen carefully and take prompt, thoughtful action to address any issues. It’s comforting to know that my kids are in good hands.
My children love being there—they are always excited to go and are constantly learning and growing. Seeing their enthusiasm and progress reassures me that Shady Grove Learning Center is truly dedicated to their development. I highly recommend this center to any parent seeking a caring, professional, and enriching environment for their children.”

“Never had any problems with the daycare. I' am a 23 year old mom and I receive updates on every little thing that happens with my son. Ms.Jamie keeps me up with everything that happens. From the teachers on down to the kids they love my son. He loves him some Zanae and Ms.Ebony. Pregnant with my second and this is where both of my kids will be attending unless I move out of TEXAS.”

“My older child(4), liked it here. They do have a lot of activities that make you feel involved. Ms.Sharon and Ms.Rose were great. The front desk staff was always helpful as well.Unfortunately my infant didn’t do so well in the infant room. He was really stressed out, and fortunately we were able to withdraw him pretty early. The infant room always seemed very chaotic and overwhelming. Ive been doing business with daycares for about 5 years now and this was my least favorite baby room.Again, staff is nice, alot of family activities, my older child loved it but it was not a good experience for my infant.”

“We attended The Children's Courtyard since 2021 & have had a wonderful experience here. From infants all the way to pre-k, my kids were truly cared for & flourished so much! Our girls love Ms. Cassandra, Ms. Nisreen, Ms. Lee... I am so grateful for them & the bond they created. As director, Ms. Tosha has definitely helped create a positive environment for children to develop & grow. This center is nothing short of a great care team!”
