As both a teacher and a parent, I have been incredibly impressed with Shady Grove Learning Center over the past four years. From the very beginning, their level of organization and responsibility has stood out. The staff consistently demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
Whenever I have had concerns, I’ve always felt confident that they listen carefully and take prompt, thoughtful action to address any issues. It’s comforting to know that my kids are in good hands.
My children love being there—they are always excited to go and are constantly learning and growing. Seeing their enthusiasm and progress reassures me that Shady Grove Learning Center is truly dedicated to their development. I highly recommend this center to any parent seeking a caring, professional, and enriching environment for their children.

We love Shadygrove! My oldest son attended there from age 2 to age 5 and he absolutely loved going!
Now my youngest son attends there ever since he was 6 months old. I love that they did not have a wait to get my little man in! He loves all of his teachers in the baby room! The staff is extremely friendly and love my son like he was their own!

My children have been attending this school for a few years now and I absolutely love it.
My daughter has improved tremendously academically. She knows her numbers, colors and shapes. Every day seems like she is learning something knew and tells me about her day.
I love all the teachers and how welcoming they are every morning receiving my kids. I've never had any issues the whole time my kids have been attending here, the director is so great with letting us know any incidents right away.
The owners are very kind and always seem so happy to see the kids coming into the building. I'm thankful for this place and their loving environment they give my babies.
I highly recommend this place!

I do not recommend this daycare. My children came home several times with unexplained marks on their arms, and we found worms and spoiled milk in their sippy cups. The facility is consistently dirty, especially around the areas where the children eat. Even more concerning, the staff and management repeatedly failed to address any of our concerns. For the safety and well-being of your child, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere

My children are older now they started coming when they were babies. Shady grove staff keeps my babies safe that’s all that matters. The lady’s are responsible and respectful. Great center from my experiences!

My grandson attends Shady Grove Learning Center and the director May West and the management team are amazing. The teachers are so responsive to the needs of each child. The interactions between teachers and children are warm and positive.

I found this place when I was in dire need of care for my son on select days of the week. Who honestly can afford $800 daycare per week, regardless if the child shows up or not? I was blessed to pay a very affordable rate! The staff were all very friendly and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for my son. He grew up, socialized, and they helped with his potty training. He did so well! Thank you so much Shady Grove for all that you did. I will always remember you all as the place that got my son started on a very solid foundation.

Being a first time parent I was skeptical about daycare, especially with COVID still being an issue. But this daycare has been amazing. The staff is friendly & compassionate. My daughter used to be very shy and would cry when others would grab her. Since coming here she now waves hello at people and enjoys playing with other kids. I feel comfortable bringing her here. Thank you guys for all you do!

Not sure how true it is but somehow my son got a bloody nose and one of the teachers told him that if he got any of his blood on her then she would press charges. Sadly this is not the first time that I've been told that kids there were under threat of charges being pressed.

As a first time parent, my wife and I struggled in beginning daycare for our 7 month old baby girl. She had never been more than arms length away from one of us and fear set in that she would in some way be "less" cared for than we would like. We visited several facilities in and around Irving and it was clear that this was the very best option available. As hard as it was to drop her off on our first day, I was quickly able to see that she was in very good hands. We receive the most amazing reports each day as soon as we pick her up which detail all of her days activities, bathroom schedule, feedings, etc. They are so fun to read that our whole extended family now communicate them back and forth to keep up with our little angel. Though I still miss her everyday, it is very clear to me that she is gaining a more valuable experience everyday than she ever could at home with us. She is happy when we drop her off and is very content when we see her in the afternoon for pickup. I am very grateful to Shadygrove for taking such good care of our baby!

The staff here have really worked with my children and showed them a lot of love. My kids have been going to this daycare for a few years now and they love it here. Nice staff, cool building, and tuition is a little cheaper than the other daycares nearby! I'd recommend this place to any and all of my friends and family.
