All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Especially Ms. Lesieli she even ran to my car with me to sure I have the right vehicle. They have good prices and last minute available cars to recomended.

They will tell you a price for security deposit and say you will get it back once the car is returned. I have rented from them 3 times and yes it took me 3 times to noticed they do not give you your deposit back once the car is returned. It’s a reason they have so many lawsuits right now . Please do not rent from these people

We had a great experience with SIXT. We were able to get our car quickly, and the guy who helped us was very friendly. We had no issues with our vehicle and returning the car was a seamless process. Definitely our go-to going forward.

Deceptive practice, car rental was easy without any issues. Rented twice with them during in 2024. On my second trip Sep 2024, I returned a vehicle and received an email before I boarded my plane saying vehicle returned without any issues. The following day or so, I received an email from Sixt stating that my vehicle had damages. Pictures sent and I disputed the damages. I asked for clarity concerning the email I receieved stating vehicle was good and without any discrepancies. Never heard back from them until a year later. Thats when I recieved a collections notice. I know I didnt block Sixt or flag them as spam, So i would have recieved an email reply back. I took out insurance from where I initially rented the vehicle at, but the insurance has since expired. So now im dealing with some collection agency who has no records of my dispute.
Very bad and deceptive practices, if I owed you a repair then I would have processed the claim and you would have received payment without any issues. Yet you elected to send the bill to collections without properly communicating with me for payment. You lost me as a customer for life Sixt! If anyone of my retired military buddies and/orMedical colleagues ask me for a recomendation on a rental car service, your company won't be recommended but my interaction will be relayed.

I rented a car back in October at the DFW airport. I was provided the keys to the car as well as the rental agreement with all the prior damage to the vehicle. Upon return they stated that there was recent damage (a scratch already there when picked up) they sent me a $1400.00 bill after multiple calls and emails there has been no resolution and absolutely no email from their customer service team or the AR team. I’m reporting Sixt to the Better Business Bureau, there has already been a class action lawsuit this year for Sixt.
Edited review- Sixt reached out to me and advised to call their customer service team, I’ve called them multiple times. I’ve spent hours on the phone and no resolution and sent at least 5 emails. I reported them to the BBB. Sixt if you can help resolve my issue I will consider updating this review.

Walked over to Sixt counter after Hertz said they did not have any cars for my reservation. Sixt was super friendly, almost no wait, AND less expensive. Great experience! Will be using them again.

I had no issues with my rental. I declined insurance because I was covered under my personal auto insurance. No AI technology to be scared about, there’s an actual person to return your rental to.

Booked and PREPAID for a car only to receive an email en route to the airport that they decided not to honor my reservation and would be canceled. No explanation or assistance just “oops we overbooked and we could make more money by renting to someone else” . Left me stranded with every other car company sold out. Been a loyal Budget customer for some time and will never be back. This was booked direct and not through a third party

Terrible Experience. Our vacation turned out to be a nightmare due to car had multiple issues, starting with a tire with low pressure which led into flat tire, and several controls were initially disabled, making it difficult to drive. To make matters worse, the lamps weren't functioning properly, which was a major safety concern.
As we were driving with our family with kids, we felt panicked and anxious, which completely ruined our vacation mood. One day was wasted dealing with the car issues, and it's unacceptable that we had to go through this stress.
We are extremely disappointed with the services and would like to request compensation for the struggles we faced during our vacation. They need to improve the services like vehicle inspection and maintenance process to ensure their customers have a smooth and safe experience.
Finally, after a long conversation, they agreed to compensate us for one day's rental amount.

Rented car from jfk for a trip around the northeast. Never had a problem with renting from SIXT the probably 20 times before. I got my usual xl suv and did my video walk around the car. Noted all of the minor dents and dings nothing serious or really stood out. I did not notice that the front license plate was missing until I reviewed the film a few days ago. Had a good trip to ct,ma,and vt. Returned the car 5 days later and had no problems all of my reported damage was signed off and flew home. I get a bill 15 days later with about 50 tolls in nyc and nj, two of them are mine since there is no possible way to get out of the hellscape nyc with out a pound of flesh. The first tolls hit 6 min before I had even left the sixt gates at a location 25 min away. I total the tolls added up to almost four hundred dollars. I sent several emails that were responded to basically saying that I am liable for all charges regardless of them very obviously not possible. The customer service phone line is staffed by people that seem to have trouble understanding the situation and would transfer me to the toll dispute line, where the line would abruptly disconnect. On the one time that I did get through to the tool line, good thing I have a recording of it, I was basically told that it does not matter the circumstances as soon as I am checked out at the desk inside I am responsible for all damage, theft, and loss of the vehicle. And that is before I did a walk around or final check out at the gates. I asked James the toll rep what steps I should take for resolution and he told me that he did not know and that it is not his problem. I hope this serves as a warning for any renters. Make sure the plates are on the car, or just rent from another service.
