I came in from out of town and decided to stop by Thrift Giant. While some of the clothing was decent quality and included recognizable name brands, the pricing was shocking. The prices were closer to Plato’s Closet…if not higher than what you would expect from a thrift store. This was easily the most expensive thrift store I have ever been to. I expected affordable secondhand shopping, but the costs felt closer to retail. Overall, very disappointing given the purpose of a thrift store.

I love coming to this store, the clothes are clean, the place is clean just something I don't enjoy is the kind of music. They should have a better choice of music. Piano, jazz, saxophone, kind of enjoyable for all everyone. For sure they will make more sells.

Amazing really good stuff. There is a second building that faces the street that has appliances. A little bit of furniture

I thrift shop all the time and have never been treated like this. Today was suppose to be a SALE day. I am posting this review 7/13/25 just for reference. My cashier was Yudith, not only did she not speak a word to me as I checked out, she also charged me full ticket price for everything I purchased. I was aware that certain ticket colors were not on sale. Everything I purchased was suppose to be a part of the sale. Check my image attached. When I called back to inquire why I was charged full price, I was hung up on multiple times. I called and called, someone picked up just to say, “ I don’t speak English “ then immediately hung up on me again. I advise that no one go to this location, there are much friendlier locations of Thrift Giant, like on Harry Hines. This experience has been the worst. And here’s the thing, nothing I bought was expensive, I know this. But if you say it’s 50% off then my expectation is that it’s 50% off.

I love 50% days. If you find an item with a tag, it's really hard to get them to sell it to you just a headsup

This by far is my favorite store over any Thrift store in Dallas. I recommend this store to everybody when I am talking thrift which is almost always, until you get to customer service. They have the worst customer service of all stores in Dallas. I mean the worst. I have recently relocated to Mesquite. so I am working on my outfit for Easter and I needed a few pieces. I spent the night at a friend's house so I could be there when they opened this morning. I was there 30 minutes early. I'm sitting outside waiting for them to open.
As I go in, I'm shopping for the pieces that I need as I'm leaving I'm looking at jewelry, the young lady that comes over and I'm being nice when as I say young lady she comes over. I feel like that I am interrupting her time because she's standing there Scrolling into her phone. She's shuffling from foot to foot and I'm feeling like that I'm having to rush looking 4 pieces because I'm taking up too much of her time. Another lady walks up as I'm standing there and she starts going over to help her but the lady never asked for any help and walks away. The employee walked away and never finish helping me. She keeps going towards the office. I'm still waiting for her to help me. And so the other lady behind the counter looks at me at my facial expression and tells her. Are you finished helping her? I said don't worry about it. Never mind and that was very rude. I have went to the other stores and I have spent over $50 in jewelry the last week and accessories at the other location closer to my house. If they do not improve their customer service I will continue to communicate and post on every outlet. This was one of my first stores when I moved here and been going every since. But if I keep getting customer service like this from thrift giant I am not gonna keep recommending them because anybody that knows me knows that thrifting is a passion. I'll pick thrifting over going to any store it just won't be with thrift giant.

Very expensive for 2nd hand stuff. This is a family owned business. Try your luck somewhere else for the price on the tag

Poor customer service. Cashier asked for manager on my transaction and the mgr. Walked over started to talk to me & her personal phone rang, picked it up while helping me and began chatting away. Not once but twice. She did not resolve my issue either. I hope that they consider finding help that promotes business, someone in a management position with enough common sense to be considerate of customers.
