“Thrift Giant is a massive thrift store with an enormous selection. There’s so much to look through that it’s almost impossible to see everything in one visit—every rack is packed, and the variety across categories is impressive.
The layout can be a bit confusing at times. For example, shoes are placed above clothing racks, which made browsing slightly less easy.
One big plus is that they have both dressing rooms and bathrooms, which is very convenient if you plan on spending a good amount of time shopping. However, the dressing room hours are a bit unclear—they seemed to close around 7 pm on weekdays, which is about an hour before the store itself closes.”
“The store is more organized than previously. Sales are texted regularly, just sign up. I found great Christmas bargains, some Fitz and Floyd. Also, quality clothing and glassware. The inventory is at the mercy of donations. Just go when you have time.”
“I love coming to this store, the clothes are clean, the place is clean just something I don't enjoy is the kind of music. They should have a better choice of music. Piano, jazz, saxophone, kind of enjoyable for all everyone. For sure they will make more sells.”
“I will say that it is packed; however, the lady at the front was nice, and it had so much items that were cool and funky. Antique/vintage/nostalgic vibes! I would come back again.”
“The staff there are very friendly, there is one gentleman in particular who is very friendly and almost always greets me when I come in, he’s so friendly in fact that I’m usually tempted to buy something there because of that, and the prices are very reasonable and they are overall the cheapest store (and also the smallest) in the area.”
“This store is truly a giant thrift store with a massive selection—there’s a ton to browse through, from clothes to shoes and just about everything in between. It can feel a bit overwhelming because items are everywhere, but if you enjoy digging, this is the place for you.
They had some discounts when I went, depending on the colour of the tag, between 25 to 70%.
The staff is kind and welcoming, and there’s plenty of free parking outside, which makes visiting easy.
The main downside: there are no dressing rooms, only bathrooms, and all sales are final—no returns or exchanges. Definitely keep that in mind before purchasing.”
“I started shopping at DAV 50yrs ago. They got me through really hard times with school clothes for my 2 sons & Christmas from Santa, clothes for myself...still do today !! Blue jeans for $3 - $4 on weekends. I've bought lots of furniture also. Still shop there ALL the time. Love new owners & staff”
