From Venus, to Irving. The pick up in Venus was spot on when it comes to customer service and hospitality. The drop of in Irving, not so much. All done with app. No human interaction. If there has been any issues, I would have likely had to wait days to get anything done.

Had an appointment to buy and install a hitch on my vehicle. I got to the U-Haul at my appointment time at 12pm and was told the installer will be here shortly. I waited an hour the finally had to cancel my appointment. I talked to the manager Heather and mage told me I can’t make someone wake up and come to work. She was very unprofessional and rude. I told her I took time off my job to make the schedule and all she kept repeating is stuff happens and I can’t make them get up to come to work. Hopefully she has a better attitude with other customers. Don’t even want to give her 1 star.

Heather was beyond kind professional and helped me in my situation. She was able to come up with a solution and although I was in a trying place did so without judgement . Would def refer family and friends to look for heather when needing moving supplies a truck and storage. Thank you heather ?

Overall experience was terrible, I came in for a 2-hour appointment and wound up staying from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., it sounds ridiculous doesn't it. After waiting around for 1 hour I walked into the store again to say what's going on, the manager said there's nothing she can do about it The employee was late. No apology and no follow-up during the 6 hours I was there. Spoke to a company supervisor who said they would call me back they never did, while I was there I saw four customers waiting over 15 to 20 minutes and no one was at the counter. I had been calling them for over a week and no one picked up the phone, I should have known.

I am really surprised with the service I've gotten from U-Haul I did a choice drive for 700 kids and U-Haul customer service was impeccable even though I canceled numerous of times they were there for me until I got everything correct with the Toys for tots I am really really pleased with them

When I arrived to pick up my rental and my appliance dolly I made a reservation about 4 days before my pick up date and never received a call that they wouldn’t have any appliance dolly due to them not even having them on the premises to even offer so that was an inconvenience. When I got the keys to my uhaul there was a horrible odor in the cabin like dog pee and wet dog, which means they are not even cleaning the trucks. Then I put over the amount of gas in the truck and couldn’t get a discount or reimbursed for the extra gas that was purchased. I also didn’t even use all the miles I requested in the contract and they only gave back a few cents per what the receipt says and it still hasn’t showed the difference in my bank account. They were not very helpful with relying all this information. I honestly wished I didn’t use uhaul again because even my pervious experience with uhaul my truck broke down in the middle of the interstate while I was moving from state to state and that’s unsafe. Uhaul didn’t do anything to help compensate for mine and my family’s life being at risk, but once again I gave uhaul a chance and still didn’t have a good experience. Very unfortunate and disappointing.
