UPDATE, HAD TO GO INTO POST OFFICE AND REPEATED THE ISSUE TO HORACE. HE WENT INTO THE OFFICE AND FOUND SOMEONE HAD LEFT MY OVERFLOW MAIL ON THE FLOOR AND HAD PLACED NO NOTICE IN MY POB. THE WOMAN I HAD ASKED TO CHECK ON THIS ISSUE THE WEEK PRIOR DID NOT LOCATE THIS STACK OF MAIL. GLAD THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED THANKS TO HORACE. STILL THIS TOOK COUNTLESS HOURS ON MY PART CONTACTING THE IRS AND THE US POSTMASTER.
-----
Maintained a POB at this location for several decades. I miss when Debbie and Horace ran things. Both knew me by name and my POB number by heart. However, summer 2024 has been a very disappointing experience.
On my way out of town I stopped by to check my POB and discovered a tax refund check. Knowing I would not cash it until I verified the amount against my tax filing and not wanting to take it along during my trip, I decided the safest place was to leave the check behind in my locked POB. Unfortunately, when I returned to the post office the check was gone. Someone working at this location stole a $4,550 check out of my POB! I'm sure they expected I didn't know the check had arrived and would believe the check had been lost in the mail. We pay for a POB to ensure our mail is safe and secure. Instead, a predator behind the counter at this location steals it. Can't begin to express how disappointed and angry I am with USPS. Filed with USPS Inspector and still waiting on IRS to verify if the check has been cashed.

Waited over 30 mins after their posted opening sign of 8:30am... and they still weren't open. Two other people were waiting too. Update the hours sign or reprimand the person who apparently comes to work super late?

The posted hours indicate that this location opens at 8:30 AM. Despite my arrival at the stated opening time and waiting until 8:50 AM, the office remained closed. This was particularly confusing as the parking lot was full of employee cars, suggesting that staff were on-site. This experience was inconvenient and disappointing, especially considering the clear discrepancy between the posted hours and the actual opening time.

Women who works the front desk was so helpful and patient with me. I didn't know what I needed to do in order to ship out a gift. She took time to make sure I wasn't over paying for the shipping, which I appreciate so much!

I looked at all the reviews for all the other USPS locations and this one was the only one in Irving that has more than 2 stars ? Great choice though. It is out of the way and I did get a bit lost but it was worth it. The line wasnât long (2 people in front of me), the wait wasnât long (in and out in 15 min), the woman who attended me wasnât rude and she was very efficient. Definitely knows how to quickly get through each persons need and on to the next customer. Overall good experience!

This post office is pretty good but periodically (like today) you get stuck in a line of people who donât have their packages labeled or ready to go that takes 20 min. 99% of my visits are pre-labeled packages I refuse to put in the drop box since the PO has lost them before (not this location, just in general). They desperately need an acceptance kiosk for people like me, who come prepared, so we donât have to wait behind those who donât. One of the only offices Iâve been to that doesnât have one.

This is probably the best run post office in America. It's small, the guys running it are extremely friendly and very helpful. I only hope Las Colinas doesn't get too big and then ruins this place.
