The older Caucasian lady that works there is horribly rude and condescending. I’ve picked up many packages here without any problems and she decided to have a problem today when the long line is literally near the entrance door over a signature. Please train your staff to work smarter and harder versus nit picking over a signature that she made me redo 4 times. I wish we can rate the sales associate AFTER their service versus BEFORE their service bc I would have given her a :( instead for her unfriendliness and rude tone. Her colleague next to her was very efficient though, he was working alone by himself seeing customers back to back out before she came to help.

Just some amazing people working in here. My husband delivered a package with a different name and Pamela, Tyson and Rockhill ensured that I got the package right away instead of delivering back it my husband.
Amazing work ethic. And they are very respectful as well.
Now I understand why USPS is the best mailing service.
Thank you Pamela, Tyson and Rockhill. Appreciate your help a lot!

This location is horrible, I waited in line for over five minutes just to be told to step aside and wait for a manager just so I can retrieve my mail. Well I stood there waiting to retrieve my mail for another ten minutes making me late to work. I had to leave without getting my mail since I was running late! I absolutely can’t wait to pick up my mail so I don’t ever have to step foot into this lazy office again!

Fantastic experience. In and out in 15 mins and very courteous staff. Saw older reviews and was prepared to be annoyed but it was a pleasant surprise.

If I could give zero rating I would surely do that. Staffs are too rude. I don’t know why people behave so rudely as if they own the office

Maria is extremely rude and dismissive. She interrupts when talking and does not want to help.

Extremely rude staff, I had trouble just sending out two simple envelopes. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

Extremely Disappointed with Misleading Information and Rude Staff
I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the USPS Post Office located at 8501 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75063. I went in to ship a SanDisk 1TB storage device internationally to India — something I've done multiple times before with no issues, including shipping laptops and other electronics.
To my shock, the staff adamantly insisted that USPS does not ship any electronics internationally. Not only is this factually incorrect (as confirmed later by USPS customer care), but the staff refused to even look up the official USPS prohibited items list, which clearly does not list flash storage as restricted to India. Their behavior was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. The lady at the front desk when asked for a supervisor said, we don't have a supervisor.
Despite my calm explanations and past experience, three different staff members continued to insist I was wrong — making no effort to verify the actual shipping policy. Only the supervisor showed a little willingness to help, but by then the experience was already frustrating and embarrassing.
I eventually had to call USPS customer care myself and file an official complaint. I’m now waiting for a written confirmation from USPS that clearly states this item is not prohibited, just to prove that this post office staff was completely in the wrong.
This whole experience was unnecessarily stressful, and frankly shocking — the lack of basic knowledge and unwillingness to assist is unacceptable. The staff at this location clearly needs retraining on both USPS international shipping policies and customer service.
Avoid this location if you’re looking for courteous, knowledgeable service — or at least be prepared to educate them about their own policies.

I hope this can help people that are getting passports. On the website it says walk ins start at 3PM which is true, however get there a hour before since they only take the first 4 people in the walk in line. People do start lining up a hour before. Make sure you have your application complete if you do not have one they do kindly provide them at the front desk. (I took my pictures at Walgreens) If US citizen have valid ID, and birth certificate. Pam assisted me with my passport process she is amazing,

Cassandra was incredible ❤️ wonderful woman super kind and very thorough in helping us get a passport for our daughter. She even went out of her way to print something out that we forgot. 10/10 experience.

5 out of 5 for Cassandra. People like her remind us that HUMANITY EXISTS!
If you’ve booked a passport appointment, you’ll likely be meeting her. Walk-ins may be handled by someone else — you may meet someone else if they follow a roster or take turns.
Anyway, our newborn’s appointment was at 10:00 AM, and we arrived 15 minutes early, only to realize that the DS-11 form must be filled out in advance. We also needed a money order, but the USPS was crowded and seemed understaffed, so we ended up skipping our appointment.
We returned for a walk-in at 2:15 PM and stood outside, following the sign on the door. Unfortunately, people were walking inside — that turned out to be the actual walk-in line. We were 5th in line, and they only accept 4 walk-ins. Thankfully, Cassandra honored our walk-in and later mentioned that she had seen us earlier in the day leaving.
In all that confusion — silly us — we had left our newborn at home (thanks to ChatGPT, which had incorrectly suggested it might be okay for just the parents to attend).
Cassandra kindly asked for the baby and gave us an extra 15 minutes to bring them.
Note: This USPS does not take newborn passport photos — check with other locations if you need one taken.
Be sure to:
Bring a filled-out DS-11 form
Get a money order inside USPS
Arrive early for walk-ins (they’re between 2:30–3:00 PM)
Wait inside, past the second door.

Came here for the passport application for my dad, and Passport application lady was very helpful and quick with her work. Appointment was at 12pm and it was her lunch time yet she insisted to help us first before her lunch!!! that tells how much she cares about her work and clients. I don’t remember her name correctly but she was just excellent with everything.

Lazy mail carrier in the Valley Ranch area, mailbox was clear and unblocked as witnessed by camera and supervisor, mail carrier still refused to drop off package or redeliver it the next day. Horrible and lazy.
