Don't waste your time stopping here for self-service gas, like I did TWICE. After swiping a credit card at the pump, it says "See Cashier". Wonder how much business they lose because of it ?

I used my debit card to purchase some Newport 100’s and the cashier tells me that it got “declined”, so I took my humiliating loss and drove my embarrassed self home. Once I got home I end up checking my bank account info to see what the problem was and come to find out it the purchase did actually m go through .So pretty much they got paid, it shows X amount was deducted from my debit card.I don’t think that the cashier was lying but in this case what do I do? I do frequent this store on a daily basis

Tried to get gas there today. 2 machines unable to accept credit card with no courtesy Out of Order sign. Gave up and went to a different gas station.
