I have 4 dogs with one being a family pet that is a 14 year old pitty. Every time I come in I bring a family member to either help with transportation or to help handle all my boys. Dr. Liebl is absolutely amazing with all of them. He is very patient with my questions and my family members questions. You can tell in his face he has a genuine love for animals. As a veterinary technician I have a hard time, trusting my babies with Veterinarians, but with Dr. Liebl I trust him 100% with no doubt. Thank you Dr. Liebl and team for the amazing care you provide my family and our fur babies.

The nurse did not know how to insert a device in my dogs rectum to check for issues. The Vet spent no more than 5 minutes and left. I was sitting an waiting for 20 minutes while the nurse and vet were attending other dogs. A revolving door to make money.

Most pathetic and overpriced vet experience I’ve ever had. VCAs anywhere else aren’t trying to gouge you and your pet for every dollar they can get out of you. Tried to run every test in the book and charge us over $6,000 for a dog that had a UTI. Ended up costing over $1,500 for an IV that took three hours for them to even start. The actual vet was arrogant, unprofessional, and quite frankly most offensive one I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. Our dog was later diagnosed with her UTI and given meds that took care of the problem at the VCA in Mesquite. The entire cost was $275, and the entire visit was less than an hour. Just do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else.

My dog got into some chocolate and I was met with the kindest and most efficient staff. I walked in the door and they prioritized getting my dog to the back to see the doctor before I could even blink. Dr. Castro was so compassionate and knowledgeable and I appreciate how quickly and thoroughly they cared for my dog. From the time I parked to the time I left, not even an hour had passed and my dog was on the road to recovery. So impressed!

The people at VCA Metroplex animal hospital REALLY care. They were extraordinarily kind and compassionate when our little cocker passed on. We will never forget that and we highly recommended them.

I do not recommend this place because they take too long and do not check the pets well and charge too high

Dr. Martinez saved my cat's life back in July of 2020 (right in the middle of COVID) when I arrived after hours around 8 PM. She kept us updated all through the night and early AM on her condition which thankfully improved and was truly a crises that could have killed her. That same cat is now 19 years old in (2023) and will soon turn 20. The total bill for her overnight intensive care she received was much lower than I expected (<$1,500). I could tell she truly cared about my cat. This VCA has seen my cat over the years and most likely how my cat has managed to live so long and so healthy. I did move her care to another vet at a cat only clinic that specialized in Diabetes treatment. However, they remained my 24 hour vet for emergency care. I even once brought them a stray cat that I found in the street on verge of death and they saved its life too. I really liked this vet and regret that I did not leave a positive review sooner.

From the moment we got there with our beloved Mimi, the staff greeted us with a smile. Extremely professional and calm. We had to make a very tough decision that night we visited and the staff was so helpful, so sweet and caring. I’d recommend my family and friends to visit here on a regular basis or emergency. Such wonderful people. Not to mention the establishment was nice and very clean. Thank you for everything! Keep up the amazing job everyone!!

We took our 4-year old beagle, Daisy, to this location for a very unsightly impacted anal gland. This was around 8:30 pm. Dr. Martinez and the staff were great. She explained the condition and treatment clearly, provided an itemized estimate for the cost of the care, and kept us updated through the night on her status when she had to spend the night. We feel like we can trust this provider with Daisy’s care and we really appreciate the extra mile they go to communicate with us.

I had an unsatisfactory experience with the staff, and I am deeply disappointed by the treatment received. Additionally, I was charged $140 for what seemed to be a lack of meaningful service – the staff merely inquired about the issue and presented a list of procedures without sufficient context. Despite paying the amount for a “consultation” of $140. I left after this to sought care elsewhere, opting for a veterinary practice that prioritizes the well-being of pets over financial considerations. This veterinary hospital prioritizes PROFITS over the welfare of animals, making it the worst facility I have ever encountered.DO NOT COME HERE. There is far superior veterinarian hospitals in the area.

Dr. Martinez and the staff were great, allowed me in the room with my dog the entire time as I made them aware that's they way he is well behaved, both him and I feel better with me being present.(we have had bad experiences with a previous vet) I hesitated to even go in because I was afraid they would make me hand him over without me being with him, but I knew this was serious, I couldn't wait until 7am to take him to his regular vet. They did xray's, & sonogram on him. Hooked him up to an IV for a while & on our way out when he had an accident didn't make us feel bad, they actually gave me a sample of it to run over to his doctor the next day for lab work. They helped my dog during one of his worst time and I am so thankful for them!

I followed a friends advice and brought my pup here. First it was to have him seen because he fell off the sofa. Vet prescribed him anti inflammatory to give him for 2 weeks. After 1 week of being on the pills we noticed he wasn’t eating. We called and was advised to mix his kibble with some wet food. That seemed to work. We also wanted to speak with the doc and was told he wasn’t on shift but to text him. We received a response 2 days later. Why would they suggest we text him knowing he was off of work? We called out of concern and not just to randomly text the vet. They should have connected me with a vet on duty.We then discontinued giving him the pills. Two weeks later my dog still isn’t eating right and has vomited multiple times through the night. I brought him back in this past Saturday and was seen by a different doc. She shared that it’s probably just the “perfect storm” of falling and being on anti inflammatory that has contributed to him being sick and gave him an anti nausea injection and 4 pills to take home with me. She also did a parasite test via a rectal swab.Four days later and my dog has been dry reaching. I called them today (4 days after my visit) to look for guidance and to find out what the result was from the parasite test. Why do I need to call for a result? Why couldn’t someone proactively call me? I was told it was negative and the girl suggested we bring him in. I explained that I’ve spent close to $800 in the last few weeks at the vca and I wasn’t going to bring him in to have another hefty bill when the doc should have been able to identify what the best treatment should have been when I brought him in last. She said she would call me back. What do you know…. I didn’t receive a call. This place is just poorly managed and over priced. They might be able to see you quick but I wouldn’t waste my time here. There’s a reason why they see you quick. Read between the lines.

this place sucks never again I went for my dog that was having bumps all over him and they said it might be allergies and gave him some medicine and antibiotics when he finally finished the pills it just came back way worse and then I try to schedule another appointment and there always so booked and keep trying to charge you so unprofessional they didn't specify what he was allergic to and just gave him antibiotics and that was it this is the worse dog place I have ever went to and they charge you if your 5 min late to the appointment and if your trying to reschedule an appointment you have to pay again even if you try to call them to try and change the time ridiculous!!!! place sucks !

Just left there after a great experience. From the time I checked in, filled out my paperwork. Just a few minutes later, they already had me and my dog in the back getting taken care of. Destiny was very calm and professional, she treated my dog very well. Then the doctor came in and Dr Liebl did the most thorough exam I have ever seen from a vet, and I’ve had dogs my whole adult life. Checked everything he could. Give me his professional assessment. And I was in and out in 30 minutes or less probably. From the front desk, to the assistant, to the doctor, best experience. Highly recommend.

I wish I would have read these reviews before taking my pets to this VCA. Had an appointment, still had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. I’m guessing people don’t pay here because they make you sign a lot of stuff and pay immediately before anything is even done. At other VCA clinics you can pay at the end. Doctor was very uninterested. Then left alone in the room for another 30 mins. None of this stuff happens at other VCA clinics. Do yourself a favor and drive to the next one. Don’t waste your time here like I did. And apparently a lot of other people too.
