The past 3 times I have used Well Via the doctors don't prescribe antibiotics and suggest it is viral. What are we paying them for them if we are doing over the counter methods on our own anyway? I called this time with a sinus infection and because I have a broken ankle and it is difficult to get to a doctor's office physically. I am seconding guessing subscribing to this service if I can do it all on my own anyway. Now I will be making an appointment and headed to the doctor's office where I KNOW I can get an antibiotic. The doctors here already are treating limited conditions and able to prescribe minimal so you would think they would and could prescribe at least an antibiotic. The service is pointless to have. Save your time and money....just go see your doctor!

Worthless and pointless unless you want to here after 30 seconds that they don't feel comfortable giving you anything over the phone. Mind you this was for a swollen elbow, not something serious. If they can't do the simplest things, what's the point of wasting your time. If they actually charge someone for this service, it should be illegal.

I did the intake over the phone and paid the $30. the Dr called me within 20 minutes only to tell me they can't help me with depression and anxiety. CROOKS!

Dr. Hughes was very knowledgeable and helped me to understand what my body was doing and why. Very kind and patient with my questions. I’m grateful for his help on the weekend, so I could get better sooner! I recommend this service.

WellVia told me they don't handle prior authorizations, so patients with expensive medication are SOL. Don't market yourselves in such a way only to leave patients out in the cold when it comes to real healthcare.

When I first used Wellvia, I was very pleased because everyone, including the doctors I've spoken with were very kind and listened to everything I said. However, the past two experiences were not like this. My children were sick with strep throat. I knew it was strep based on past experiences. I called first thing in the morning to ensure they would get antibiotics in a timely manner. The doctor I spoke with insisted they get covid tested before he would prescribe anything. My daughter has to get tested for her job, so she looks my boys with her. All 3 were negative and all 3 had strep just as I had said. Because of this, my children didn't get the necessary treatment until late that afternoon.Today I called because I have a sinus infection. The doctor I spoke with insisted it's just viral because I haven't had symptoms "long enough." I've had multiple sinus infections in my lifetime and know this is exactly what I have despite it not being "long enough." I know this because I've had so many past experiences with it, my doctor at the time (sadly he has moved to a different state) didn't even question it despite the lack of time. I tried explaining this to him, but he didn't want to listen. Now I get to suffer for the next few days while I wait until enough time has passed in order to get the necessary medication, which is so wonderful with Thanksgiving fast approaching. In the meantime, I get to mask the problem by throwing a bunch of useless over the counter medications at it, instead of addressing the problem head on.To say I'm extremely disappointed is an understatement.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good initial experience with Wellvia. After my initial call I was having cell phone reception issues. The physician apparently called three times in less than 20 minutes and could not get through. During that time he was trying to get through, I submitted an alternate Skype number for them to call, however, by the time they received that (also 20 minutes) they had already closed my case and invited me to pay for another consult and wait 7 business days for a refund for my first consult. This is a poor policy and procedure on the part of Wellvia, especially on a weekend and during a pandemic when finances are tight for everyone! Absolutely not helpful!!

Have used them a few times when I couldn't shake a cold. Quick doctor call backs. Once I even had the call center reach out to and correct the request I had submitted, because it was incorrectly done. They fixed it right up and had a doc call me within minutes.Sure beats going to your primary physician so simple fixes.
