I am The resident of Texas for the last 37 years, I will not recommend anybody to buy food to dining or carry out because they don't sell fresh food instead mix match to make the dish, the customers requested which resulting customers getting sick with stomach ache and ending in the Hospital. THE TEXAS KING playing people health and life to greedy enough to make money on customers, Food is not cheap either. I hope city of Irving raid to Texas King at belt line and shut it down for non compliance of city ordinance, and will not let it open with different name or DBA, that how they play games, they do sell stalls foods and when they caught , they open with different name and they continue ripping off people. Great food! Prices are reasonable and portions are enough to where you can order many dishes and share, family style (which is the only way to eat Indian/Pakistan restaurants) Butter chicken is fantastic and it took a lot of restraint not to pick up the plate and lick the remaining sauce up in front of my co-workers. PLENTY of vegetarian options where you wouldn't even miss the meat if you just had these. Lots of flavor, spices were a bit mild for me, but I like things spicier that others Atmosphere is a bit lack-luster, but you don't go for that, you go for the food and that is done in spades. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go directly to Texas King.

The only reason I shop here because it has pakistani grocery and a reasonable variety. Cleanliness is average. The worst thing is the service. A big NO to buying meat from here. The person I have seen often at the meat corner is rude and unwelcoming. But to be honest, cannot tell if he is any different from the rest of the staff. There is a sense of gloom in the store. They are wasting such a good location to such an awful customer service.

Great prices and great food. We do not go there for a fancy dinner. We go because the food is very well done. Everything I have had from korma to kababs has been awesome. And everyone is nice!

Items are getting pricier now. Food is good, but not good enough to warrant the asking price. I frequent this place for the price. But I have less reasons to visit now. There are other better tasting restaurants for the price ballpark.

This was our second visit… we were here in Dec 2022 for the first time and the food was good. Service with a smile and hospitality would have made our first experience better. On our recent second visit, we ordered a dish that we really enjoyed the first time. The portion was very small so we pointed this out to our server. After consulting with the chef, the server returned and explained that there was nothing they could do because they received smaller portions of meat. We expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction and indicated that an easy remedy would be to add a few more pieces of meat. The server consulted with the chef again and returned to say there was nothing they were willing to do. We sent the dish back to the kitchen and the server offered to lower the e price of the dish. This is not what we asked for, we simply wanted a portion that was consistent with what we received a few weeks ago during our visit. The entire experience was very, very disappointing, frustrating, and appetite destroying. Texas King lost customers who would have been regulars at a restaurant that seems to be empty much of the time.

Got the Nihaari and the Lahori grilled chicken, along with tandoori naan and momos to start. Everything tasted so good - made us wish we lived close by! The service was also excellent! Would visit again!

Restaurant owner Khawar is a cheat. I rarely write yelp reviews but I am doing it given the poor experience at his restaurant.

My in-laws hosted an Eid lunch/event (this review is long over due) there for maybe about 50 people. Everything started off great. Tables were set up, they even provided small center pieces on each table. Food was good and quantity was good. The services, however, not good at all. Any time we needed something we had to hunt someone down. Most of the staff just said "I don't know" and then told us to find someone else. But, what really made me mad was the lies. The package we paid for included mango lassi and chai for beverages. As we were offering our guests drinks, most people wanted lassi since we told them it was an option. When some of the family followed up the lady there told them they didn't have lassi. So I went up to her and asked her what was going on because we paid for mango lassi. She said that they are out of mangos so they cant do mango lassi. Ok fine, I said if they cant do mango, just give us sweet lassi in it's place, we're fine with that. She wasn't happy but said ok she'll get some out. About 20 minutes later here comes a large dispenser with mango lassi. So after telling me they don't have mangos, where did this lassi come from? I can only assume they were lazy and didn't want to make what we paid for. Good place to go for a food but don't host any events in my opinion.

I wish there is a no star option when posting a review because there food is not edible for any normal human. I know their menu prices are cheap but if they kept it cheap to serve trash food they really need to reconsider. Their rolls doesn't not have a drop of sauce and the meat is so hard that if you have any sort of dental work done you need to be careful.

It's rare that you get great food and terrific service all in one establishment when it comes to Pakistani food! Arshad, our host/server was attentive and efficient with a huge smile! Our Halwa Puri and Nihari breakfast hit the spot. And their Raita (yogurt, cilantro, cucumber chutney) was the star of the show. Highlight recommend if you are craving authentic Pakistani cuisine in DFW!
