If you're a young woman, the old men may flirt with you. They can do inspections without an appointment. If you have a real problem with your car, don't try to guess what it is. Just tell them there's a noise and let them figure it out. They were not able to fix my car, but they did help me with inspection.I returned to this service department 2/26/18. I asked for an inspection and the man behind the desk told me they can't do inspections in the rain. This didn't make sense to me, but I then asked if they could check if I needed an oil change. I expected him to actually check my car. Instead, he sat behind the desk on his computer, clicked around and told me I was last there in April. He said my mileage was 27,000 then and since I told him it was 35,000 now someone must have changed it since. He assumed I didn't know when my own car was serviced, and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I am very insulted and will not return to this dealership for car service.11/7/23 unfortunately had to return here for service since other shop in town didn’t understand I wanted them to identify why my engine light was on and also service the vehicle. Was quoted $200 for the service and ended up paying $290+ for labor. The part itself was $50. I sure hope the mechanics saw that money.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They made a key for me that didn’t work to my vehicle and still charged me. I will Be taking them to small claims court. Mike the manger has such a nasty attitude. He def does not have any problem solving skills he is very rude.

The service here is outstanding. Only one minor complaint however, and that is they get grease on my wheels every time they rotate the tires. Seriously? I had just washed everything!

Just bought a used truck from them literally less than 8hrs while i was at work they jim vargas worked his magic and got me a 0 down payment colorado z71 literally 30mins or less of paperwork and i was on the road awesome and quick experience

Two separate experiences with this dealership, both were not good. Last august the AC compressor on my truck quit. I took it to Bacon for them to replace the compressor. About a week goes by, I get the call it's done. Come pick it up, I pay, I'm handed keys, $1500.00 later I have to walk around the parking lot to find my vehicle, and it's absolutely filthy. Would have been nice to have a courtesy wash, but at the very least go pull the truck around to the service drive so the customer isn't wandering around looking for it. Oh well, chalked it up to a Friday. Fast forward to this August and I purchased a truck used, that only came with one key. I wanted to have a second key cut for it. I go in, speak with the counter person in parts, he says the key is not in stock but they can order it, have it in a few days. It's $53 + tax for the key, $50 to cut it, and programming will be additional at the time of pickup. I agree and pay the $111.00 for the key and cut, and leave to wait for their call. A week goes by and I call to see if it's in. "No sir, hasn't shown up yet." "These keys take time." Ok, so I wait. Another week goes, and again I call. The gentleman checks and says "nope, it still hasn't come in." At this point I call Hall GMC in Tyler and ask them about ordering a key. They said it's not in stock but can have one tomorrow. I decide to deal with them instead. So I call Bacon back and tell them I want to cancel the order. The parts guy sounds surprised, says "give me a moment to check." He comes back laughing and says "yeah we can cancel the order for you." I said let me guess, y'all never even ordered it, did you? NOPE!Two weeks I waited after paying for a part they never ordered. THEN I call the cashier to make sure the refund will be processed at once. "Oh, I need to check with parts, I haven't heard anything about this." She comes back says ok, we'll take care of it. I ask if it will go back to the card on file and she says "oh I need your card number to process the refund." How would they have done it otherwise? I would have hung up and had to wait another week to then find out they couldn't process the refund because they didn't have the card number. After a week the charge is finally returned, and I go to Hall. They order the key, and charged me NOTHING to cut it. I was informed that it would need programming and I would make an appointment for that service at a later date due to time constraints. Class act outfit. We service both of our GMC's there now. Bottom line, this was handled very poorly, and possibly unethically. To charge for a service that another dealer does not is outrageous. The parts manager at Bacon is rude and can't be bothered to help paying customers. I did not have my title at the time of payment and he went on and on about how he would not cut the key until he had proof I owned it. Which is fine, but you took my money anyway. No one knows what is going on. Amateur operation. If you own a GM product in the greater Tyler area, go to HALL GMC. They will take care of you.

Paul Laney never disappoints!!! Thanks Paul for all that you do for your customers. This post-pandemic car-buying experience is “different” to say the least. Paul is old school and was very effective in explaining the buying experience of today and he explained the process from beginning to the end. You will not be disappointed by allowing him to find your next purchase.

Little late doing this, review. I was coming to work & got a nail in my back right tire. Made it to Bacon in Jacksonville & the Service Department fixed my flat & got me on the road again. Wonderful customer service & good bunch of gentleman doing their jobs.
