Rodeway Inn is an older hotel that offers mixed experiences for its guests. While some reviews praise the comfortable beds and cleanliness of the rooms, others report issues with outdated facilities, poor sanitation, and rude staff behavior. Several guests mention problems with the hotel's housekeeping staff, including complaints about a Spanish-speaking housekeeper who was described as "very rude" and prone to "hissy fits" when guests used the "do not disturb" sign. Another reviewer had a negative experience with the hotel's management, who allegedly failed to communicate a room cancellation and were "very rude" when the guest tried to resolve the issue. The hotel's physical condition also drew criticism, with reports of hot rooms, peeling walls, bullet holes in the ceiling, and bug infestations. One guest even described the room as "unsanitary," with "brown stuff running down the walls." Despite these concerns, some guests found the rooms to be suitable for their needs, especially after long days of travel. However, the overall consensus seems to be that Rodeway Inn is not an ideal choice, particularly for families with children, as one reviewer advised against staying there with kids due to the hotel's "rude" treatment of guests.
The room furniture is old. There wasn't any coffee for the coffee maker. And the security lock on the door was literally barely hanging on .
