OMG My Wife and I had the Pleasure of Staying for a weekend that aligned with their wine pairing experience! The Room was Incredible, The Bed was Very Comfortable. Mikelyn is an Amazing Chef and Chuck well He is quite the Showman!! Will Certainly be back for More-We Highly Recommend This Awesome spot for a getaway

We had our wedding at the Bird and Butterfly Inn and it was absolutely perfect. It is a gorgeous setting for an outdoor wedding and the Inn works hard to coordinate everything you need. Also, the breakfasts there are amazing! We highly recommend the Inn for a wedding or just a personal vacation!

I can't say enough good things about the Bird and Butterfly Inn! From the moment we arrived, Mikelyn and Chuck made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. Each room is unique and charming, offering its own special touches that make you feel right at home. This secluded gem, nestled quietly by the river, provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made it so easy to relax and unwind.
The food was absolutely divine—every meal was a delicious experience that exceeded our expectations. It was clear that a lot of love and care went into every dish. We can't wait to return to this peaceful paradise!

The Bird and Butterfly Inn is absolutely magical! the rooms are charming, it has such a peaceful setting and warm hospitality made for an unforgettable stay. I actually proposed here, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Mikelyn & Chuck were so accommodating and helpful and they made the experience all the more better. I would highly recommend this for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat!

We stayed at The Bird & Butterfly for our son's golf tournament and the service was excellent! The house and cottage were so lovely and the hosts were precious. We had a wonderful three night stay. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We were looking for a little escape and found something truly special! From the moment we arrived, Mikelynn and Chuck made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail is impeccable—from the charming decor to the perfectly prepared breakfast, every little touch reflects their love for what they do.
The warm hospitality, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities made our stay unforgettable. It’s clear they pour their hearts into creating a welcoming retreat. We can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories!

What a magical place in the woods along the Angelina River! The main house is beautiful and filled with antiques and windows looking into the woods. A fabulous network of paths with string lights surround the property, with water sounds and birds. Large front porch with rocking hairs to relax and take it all in. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the well water is crisp and clean. But the hosts, they make the place even better! Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a very long time.

Located in a lovely wooded setting, with beautifully appointed rooms, and fantastic hosts, the Bird &Butterfly Inn is perfect for one night on the road or a several night get-away to relax and unwind.

We did a cooking class and learned how to make Chuck's shells (a pasta dish). It was a blast! The food was excellent and I have a new dish for family. Great experience and I hope they do more!

We booked the cabin for a birthday weekend getaway. Once booked, we found out that the booking was when they normally close to prepare for Christmas. They still wanted us to come and advised that there may be a little clutter around due to the large number of Christmas decorations. We did not mind a bit, and she actually enjoyed seeing the different decorations that they put up throughout the property. The food was very good, and they even went out of their way to provide a cinnamon roll to her on the morning of her birthday. Coincidentally, the Saturday was the beginning of the Christmas in the park festival with a huge evening fireworks display. Since we were the only guests, we were able to tour all of the rooms and were able to get the history of Bed & Breakfast. Thank you for the stay. We really enjoyed the getaway.

Participated in the Italian cooking class making Manicotti. Chuck & Mikelyn had it all well prepared. Tables were set up with all the ingredients prefectly measured. All we had to do it mix ingredients, stuff the pasta shells & then layer with meat sauce & parmesan cheese.
