Made my reservation a week in advance for a 26ft truck and a auto transport. Got a call a day before my pick up time and was told that they didn't have a 26 ft but they had a 20ft. No big deal So i agreed to the 20ft. Get there and I was told that they didn't have a 20 ft or the auto transport. Called uhaul and found another spot 40 min away. Get to that place and they weren't there. Drove another 15 min down the road and finally found what I needed. Only took 3 hours round trip out of my day to get my stuff. When it should have been 5 min away from my house.

I only gave 1 star because I couldn't give negative 5 stars. The woman who rented us the trailer was probably the rudest person I have ever encountered. I mean just an unhappy person with literally the worst attitude. I was told there wasn't anyone there who could help us hook up the trailer. I told her that was ok we would do it ourselves (because neither her nor the other man in the office were about to get up and come out back and help us so we had no other option). After we hooked up we went to check the lights on the trailer but they didn't work. That was when we realized a wire on the harness had been severed and poorly repaired. So we took it upon ourselves to swap it out with another one on the lot. They still wouldn't work. That was when we realized that because of the bad wiring harness a fuse had blown in our truck. No big deal. We went inside and asked if they had a fuse and the man behind the counter just said "no this isn't a mechanic shop" and turned around. They acted like we weren't even standing there. Our only options were to drive to the parts store with no lights and risk getting pulled over, or return the trailer, unhook everything and go get a fuse and come back. THANKFULLY, a man pulled up and asked if we needed help. He worked there and it was typically his job to hook people up. So there WAS someone there to help she just didn't want to take 30 seconds to ask someone to help. Gene was super helpful. We told him we needed a fuse and guess what? He walked right in there and got one. Yep... they had them they were just super rude and didn't care. Thank u Gene for being a nice person who cares about customer service. You saved the day. Unfortunately I will be forced to deal with this woman again as she does the emissions in jasper. Seriously never want to see these people again.

Made my reservation a week in advance for a local move and I was told I would receive a confirmation call by 5pm the day before. Come 4:45 and no call so I called U-Haul, who then called the store, and they just said it was forgotten to get done. My reservation is for 6am the next morning and I cannot wait for someone to show up. Thankfully U-Haul sent an area manager to fix the situation and hopefully this will work out. Poor service by the U-Haul representive in the store to not do their job with 5 whole business days to do so. Pick up your reservations elsewhere if you don’t want a headache.

I made my reservation a week in advance for a local trip. I was told I would receive a call to confirm before 5pm the day before. At 4:45 I called U-Haul scheduling and after they got in touch with the business, they relayed to me that it was forgotten and nobody got around to it. Now I'm waiting for the U-Haul area manager to drive from Beaumont to fix it all tonight. Really poor service from the U-Haul representative that works in the store and didn't do their job. Thank you to the manager that's driving down after hours to get me squared away.

Rude and difficult to deal with, did not return calls as promised and even refused to give an estimate for an additional rental after a previous rental drop off. One Star is already too many, but that's the only choice to describe this business and it's owner. Stay clear!
