“Stayed two nights in the Lady Bird Room. Very large room with private bathroom. Our room was clean and quiet. We paid for breakfast one day. It was very good. We love the history of the hotel.”

“I'll review as a tournament bass fisherman, since they would have a specific list of questions. This is a quiet, safe easy place to stay. The people that run it are extremely nice and helpful. They tske cash or check, but no CC. Parking is ample for trailers to back up to the room. There are outside plugs. The rooms have a mini fridge that will hold a 10 lb sack of ice in the freezer. Rooms are complete with towels and coffee, and are clean and well appointed. Mine had a couch I sat on to rig rods. I left my rods and graphs out and on the boat with no issues, and mistakenly left my truck bed cover open at the ramp with my tools out - no issues.

The ramp is excellent, but dark at night. There is an easy beaching place next to the ramp, and its wind protected for the most part. I used this ramp, and navigated to my tournament launch site to avoid the usual morning tournament traffic, and that worked really well. The lake in front of the launch is clear and easily navigated in the dark. There is a store with a decent café a short 5 min drive away.

This is a great place to stay if you have a tournament here, and will be my go to at LOP from here out.”
