I decided to book an appt just to retouch my highlights. I sat at this place for 6 hrs on my birthday b/c she messed my hair up the first time and after she “fixed” it I still hated my hair. So after spending half of my birthday in this chair crying I still left with hating how my hair came out. I didn’t realize someone could mess up highlights so much. And now basically all of my hair is like 3 shades lighter so it left my hair damaged and ugly.Service: Hair coloring

I was so nervous about getting my hair cut because I have super long hair & had prior bad haircuts from elsewhere. I made an appointment with Grace and I’m completely in LOVE with my haircut & she did such an AMAZING job! She listened and only took off a bit then we worked from there. She really listened and understand what I was looking for and the end result was so good! I highly recommend!

I visited DB Salon for the 1st time yesterday, Bianca was my hairstylist and did an amazing job! I have long hair and wanted long layers to face frame and to create more volume. She took her time and over-delivered!Services: Blowouts

Pretty unpleasant experience at this salon the initial discussion around which color was positive. I had booked in for highlights and correcting toner. The hairdresser was incredibly rough with brushing, sectioning, washing my hair, My scalp is now red and tender. I wasn't asked if the water temp was ok the removal of the foils and washing was rough and had me wincing. I was not asked how I like my hair styled, which parting I had, my bangs- nothing. I had no discussion or even consultation which products she used prior to a very rough and at points painful incomplete blow dry. At that point I offered to just leave with wet hair wondering if her rough handling was due to time constraints or over booking.No offer of straighteners or curling iron. I left the salon with still damp and to be honest, terribly dried frizzy hair then to be asked at the desk how much I would like to tip. I then had to come home and try to restyle my hair to find both ears have dye inside and all around my earrings and a patch of hair missed of color on my temple. the color is okish - the condition is now poorer and it's still got a green tint. Incredibly disappointed.

My husband called to make an appointment for him and my son they wanted a $70 deposit over the phone, before they even got their haircuts. I don’t think so!! We can find somewhere else that has great customer service and doesn’t charge a deposit.

I visited DB for the first time today. Gia did my partial highlights and cut. The staff is very friendly and professional. The color is absolutely beautiful and my hair looks very healthy. I've been taking my son there for about 2 years. Every six months or so they raise the price because his stylist Jay is in a different tier. One would assume a higher tier and higher prices means more experience and you'll get a better quality cut. Not the case. There's always hiccups and we have to point out unevenness and mistakes for her to fix. Last month I took him for a haircut I was told her prices are going up again to $40. OK fine, I call to make my son an appointment and get a call back that starting today they have a new policy that child cuts are now $59.99. First of all, adding 99 cents seems tacky and cheap since you're supposed to be a high end salon. If you don't want to do kids cuts, say so.Prices not worth the quality of the haircut!
