Besides closing earlier than the next closest shell station from where I live it is absolutely outrageous prices-wise. A 20oz bottle of soda comes to over $3 95. Red Bull in the 12oz can is cheaper than 20oz popular brands of soda. They are high on all prices. They are the closest convenience store to two area motels and for perpetual night-owls like myself a walk of a couple hundred yards becomes a nearly 3 mile round trip walk after 11pm. They are situated in such a place that they can charge more for everything knowing some people must shop there between 5pm & 11pm. Not everyone is able or willing to make the longer trip on foot. Most will go without what they need/want rather than being forced to walk more than 4x the distance to a 24hour station. They gotcha by the short hairs before 11pm and you either do without or walk the longer distance after 11pm. The longer walk does save you money but it's not always possible. This neighborhood is safe enough to host 24hour foot traffic so I don't think safety is their biggest excuse for closing early, in fact they are the closest gas station to the Jersey Village police station. On a late-night walk from the motel I live at to the farthest of the three shell stations in the neighborhood, off of 290 & Jones, I counted at least 12 times police cars drove by in under 35 minutes. Averages out to a cop presence of once every 2.9 minutes. I'm a senior citizen and I feel safe enough so I can't imagine safety or crime to be the biggest issue here. Any criminal thinking of wrongdoing would not be very smart considering the police presence and close police station proximity.
I rather think the same person or persons own at least two of the three shell stations on 290 between Senate and Jones. Tell me I'm wrong. Js

The lady was rude when I ask if today is power ball or meganillions she said I don't know what kind answer is that is unprofessional if don't like work there she's have to quit any I don't come back again bad service

What's the purpose of having rewards For fuel when the incompetent employees never know how to give you v power?!? Then you get refunded and lose your rewards; this happens at half the shells that I go to
