The Jewett VFW is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans and the local community. This VFW post offers a full bar, a small selection of food items, 3 pool tables, a recreation hall, video games, V Sweeps machines, and poker. The members also hold many events and benefits throughout the year. The post welcomes and is open to the public, providing a friendly and relaxing environment for a good time. Visitors can enjoy Taco Tuesdays, a Super Bowl party, and a crawfish boil benefit, among other events. Overall, the Jewett VFW is known for its friendly staff, cold beer, and a variety of recreational activities.
It's a hell of a thing when a member of the post just wants to go in and have a cocktail, just to be told you have to pay $ 15.00 to enter your own post because they have a band (which I don't care for). The band is playing in the hall not the canteen!!!!!
