Do not pawn anything with them. I pawned a ring and they claimed a employee stole it. It was a lie I called the cops and they told the cops they sold it. Why lie to someone I will never go back. Quit lying to cover your a I have been a customer there. Everyone was very rude to me when I was a customer

Bought a firearm from an online retailer and they had Star Pawn as an active FFL transfer dealer. I chose them since they're pretty close to where I live and their online prices were reasonable. I got an email Friday morning that my package was successfully delivered to the pawn shop. More than 3 hours had gone by and still had not received a call from Star Pawn to notify me that I could come in and do the paperwork to pick up my firearm. Found it extremely odd since most FFLs call within an hour after I get the delivered email, so I called them. Whoever I spoke with at first had no idea what I was talking about and told me that no firearms had been delivered that day. I told her I had gotten an email from the retailer that the package was left at the front desk at 1048 AM and then I heard someone from within proximity say something about "back". Then she told me they sent it back and dropped it off at the drop box. WHAT?! You sent the item back without notifying the customer you did so?! What the hell were they thinking? Lazy? Dumb? Or was it shady? Either way a courtesy call would have been the right thing to do. They told me that their FFL expired but then it wasn't expired so I don't know the reason. I called the retailer and notified them about what happened in order to create a paper trail just in case the package gets "lost" on the way back to the retailer. Seeing some of the reviews on here about having a ring stolen makes my anxiety worse about the business practices of this establishment. AVOID THIS PLACE! If they can't make a simple phone call to notify a potential customer that they weren't able to process a firearm transfer, it makes me wonder what other negligence/shady practices are going on within this place. Zero apologies from both of the women I spoke to including Mari or something with an M and she's supposed to be the manager. What a joke. I'm sticking with Off Duty Armory now, those guys are always great and they have exceptional customer service skills. In the end trying to save $5 bucks wasn't worth it! Lesson learned, add that to the books, and avoid this place like COVID-19.

I called about an item I had previously seen to see if they still had it and was told yes, they still had it. I said I would come get it within the hour if they could knock off 10% -was told yes, they agreed. Got there and apparently the mgr. was unaware of the phone conversation. Lots of drama ensued, staff was questioned, etc.... The whole purpose of calling first was to clarify availability and cost - what a waste of time.

Very nice people, they always greet me seeing what they can do for me. Today I went in looking for several sockets. I didn't have much on me at the time and they were more than helpful in getting me a good price on them. I would definitely come back again.

If you're looking for a pawnshop that has great customer service as well as great products for good prices - this is the place to go! The ladies in there are amazing and their stuff is of all styles! My boyfriend ended up getting me a Texas shape necklace here that he just gave me for Valentines and a new country style pillow and I absolutely love it. We have gone here a couple times and would highly recommend to all my family and friends. ?

This Pawn shop is well organized and has very friendly employees, they make you feel at home with their warm friendly family oriented feel. They are honest in what they sell. They have a wide variety of tools, instruments and even have nice purses. You can find gifts for your loved ones as well as needing a loan. Love this store.

Star Pawn in Joshua has the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They give fair pawn prices, and they don't try to get rich off of anyone. A true hard working bunch of folks there that take care of other hard working folks. Plus an awesome inventory. You never know what you might find there. I live on the east side of Cleburne, but it's worth the drive to visit.
