I am changing my 1 star review to a 3 . Since the initial review reliability has been good. If your service remains reliable i will adjust my review to a higher level. Update!! Now back to a 1 now that I have Starlink.

I used them for years…I remember canceling my subscription with phoenix broadband and told them I switched to Starlink. Yall said nothing but a bad response as to how it was “gonna be a bad choice”and laughed at my decision (kind of upset me since I’d been a member with y’all forever it seemed… 9+yrs )seeing all the outages yall had/have and remembering how often yall went down from the slightest bit of weather occurrence… the speed I’m getting now (600mbps) without ever having outages longer than maybe 14seconds and for less than yall charge is awesome. I was even able to install it myself (super easy) Starlink is the future of internet!

Me and my family have had Phoenix Broadband since 2016, at various houses in Leming. It is the best internet you can get out in the country as far as latency, speed, and data cap (they have unlimited plans unlike satellite) by a mile (pun intended)! Reliability is of course affected by the inherent risk of equipment being mounted to radio towers (Lightning strikes primarily) but we have never had any major outages of more than a few days since 2016 and we have always been kept in the loop when we've called to inquire about any issues.Of course, the service is a bit pricey, but I imagine if setting up this infrastructure were a trivial task, there would be tons of other ISP’s competing with Phoenix broadband. It is obvious that most of the bad reviews are from people who do not understand a thing about technology. In today’s world of the always connected lifestyle, people expect services to have an 100% up-time, while costing peanuts, which is just not feasible, especially from a small business perspective. I suggest if they think it is so easy, that they should start their own ISP!I have no dog in this fight, rather than wanting decent internet out in the country, and that is exactly what Phoenix Broadband is. Compared to a major cable or DSL provider in the big city, of course price, speed, and readability are going to be better due to economies of scale among other things, but this is comparing apples to oranges. Phoenix Broadband has honestly been the best thing since sliced bread as far as true high-speed broadband out in Leming.Rhonda, Julian, and Greg (hopefully I remembered their names correctly) were very professional and helped us to get internet at my mom’s new house within four days of calling. Installation was quick, neat, and hassle free. Internet is working great and we are able to view her security camera’s while away from home with no issues at all. I would not hesitate to continue to recommend Phoenix Broadband to my family and friends (and random strangers on google).

I like the service however it is a bit pricey..The staff is very professional they do answer calls and return them as well..They are efficient and when a technical problem occurs I like that they email you to let you know that they are working on the issue.. again just don't like the price..

I live in a very rural area and when we first got here the only internet available was satellite which we were not happy with AT ALL! My computer repair man told me about Phoenix Broadband so I called them! After a few glitches were worked out, our service has been GREAT. There have been issues beyond their control but they have always worked quickly and diligently to get the issues fixed!A FOREVER happy customer!!!

Customer Service is 100 A+ There’s no doubt about that!But...The amount of times “a line gets cut” with them is ridiculous and never any compensation for service loss only emails saying sorry IT HAPPENED AGAIN...the service itself isn’t even wonderful to begin with in the county...but it’s our ONLY choice...Basically we are paying for GREAT customer service...guess that counts for something...

Been a customer for over 5 years. Slow service for the price you pay, but if you’re living in a rural area you don’t have many options. If you’re having video meetings, making calls, or gaming packet loss is ridiculous causing huge lag spikes and latency issues. Paying $167/month and the connection is inconsistent during daytime hours. If your main use of the internet is watching TV, movies, or anything that only requires the download of information it gets the job done. Haven’t ever really had a problem with buffering in Netflix or any other streaming service. I recently added another star to my review because if you stay up until 1 a.m. gaming is fine until the next morning so it doesn’t seem completely hopeless.

Very poor quality. More often than not we are without service. Very slow to respond. Will NOT adjust bill when you have been without service for days. WorstInternet service that I have had. They will not call you back when you have been without service for days. They can not provide an ETA ever when service is down. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone. The motto on their webpage states the “fastest internet service in Atascosa County” - absolutely NOT TRUE!

I love the hometown feel in dealing with Phoenix personnel, even though it has grown substantially since i became a member.. Every call is answered promptly, courteously and professionally. They do their best to find the best solution for you and never treat you like your just a number.

The people at Phoenix are quick to inform customers of outages and repairs. Unfortunately, they have frequent fiber cuts which causes loss of service for their customers. But, all-in-all, they are a good company and I would recommend them to others.

My main issue is the ‘problems’ Phoenix has always pops up at peak times - when everyone wants to see something. For me, that’s the watermark for good service. If these times continue to create problems for Phoenix, it is obvious that they aren’t equipped to service their customers at peak times. It has become apparent that their watermark is providing service for ‘normal’ times, and scrambling with excuses during peak times. Not my idea of a ‘with-it’ provider.

We have had this "internet provider" for a couple months now and it is absolutely horrible. We very rarely have any connection at all. We call and they always have an excuse, always! Sometimes, we call and they claim to not understand why we have no internet, I mean c'mon. We were pretty much forced to use them considering the apartments we are in only have those connections in their apartments, imagine that. DO NOT ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT, IT IS WASTED MONEY! Please do not tell us to put in a work order and it will be looked at...that is what we hear everyday! I will pay out my year and then I'm out, lesson learned!

This provider got some nerve to be expensive, YET WiFi is slow and it goes out during heavy weather! What’s worse is that contract, if you don’t give them 30 day notices they’ll renew it and keep charging you. Feel sorry for those making a living in Pleasanton Texas.
