“Welp! We aren't out of the eating stuffed animals stage as a 6 & 1/2 yr old Rottweiler!!! Guess thats one desire that never dies!!! Chaparral Vet Center approved us dropping off my Rottweiler for a lab workup to see why she refused to eat and was vomitting for the past 2 days, even after withholding food for 24hrs to let her tummy reset. Labwork came back with infection - everything elevated - come to find out, she had eaten my daughters cow squishmallow and it was lodged in her small intestine with necrotizing bowel from the blockage - 6 inches worth. Devil himself. So with the expertise of Chaparral Vet's amazing doctors and staff, they saved our pup with emergency surgery! Even saved the darn squishmallow for us for laughs, now that pup is out of the critical stage and in the recovery process. We coveted our pup and Chaparral drs & staff in prayer! Thank you God and Chaparral Veterinary Center for saving our pup! We are forever grateful and thankful for your expertise, care and love for our sweet 4-legged family member. Much love to all y'all!
