Not a satisfied customer! We are not new to hunting btw! But anyway, My wife shot and we took a huge white Fallow buck deer in for processing to Junction Deer Processing. In a couple weeks I got a call that the meat was ready for pick up. All we asked for was the animal steaked out, so hams and backstrap then the rest ground in to burger. I made the 7 hour round trip for 37lbs of meat. Animal before gutting weighed around 180 lbs, should have dressed at around 110 lbs. we got 5 little 12oz packs of backstrap, weighing around 3lbs total, 10, 15oz packs of ham steaks and maybe 15 packs of ground averaging around 1.5 lbs each. I made it home and weighed everything and was blown away. I believe they kept or stole one backstrap and one ham. I will never take another animal there again and I advise everyone else to do the same.Ps, after calling them, they said that 37 lbs of meat is average for a deer that size, and that they would look around and see if some was left there. Never got a call back. I’m not done with it. I will be calling and getting my answers!!

So far, so good. I've dropped off 3 deer here and gotten one back. They take approximately 2-3 weeks per deer. My first two I had ground with brisket added. It cost $163 on the one I got back. I feel like that price is reasonable. My buck tonight, I had cut into standard cuts and all the left over scrap made into sausage and snack sticks. I fully expect it will be more expensive...but it's expected.

I have been using Junction Deer Processing for almost twenty years. I’ve tried several others near my homes, but none come close to their smoked sausage. I drive 5.5 hrs (one way)to bring my meat there. While living in Nevada, I would ship my Mule Deer meat to them for processing. Yes, it’s that good! My only complaint. . . they won’t sell me the business. ?

Absolutely horrible. They stole my backstrap! I shot a huge Scimitar Oryx and recieved only 3.14 pounds of backstrap and loin. One backstrap weighs more than this! I do not suggest doing business with them.

We've used different deer processors over the years, but I think we've found our favorite in the Junction area! Our family inhaled their dried sausage at our New Year's party this year. My husband and I love their smoked sausage (we aren't sharing that, lol). We ordered it seasoned hot, and it's perfect. Pair it up with some Bavarian kraut and potatoes and you've got a feast fit for a king and queen. They also cut, tenderized, and vacuum sealed steaks, backstrap, and tenders for us, all to order. We'll definitely use Junction Processing again if I'm lucky enough to get a deer!

it's a hell of a lot more than a butcher shop. You are part of the owner's family and every time you think of your visit there. You will have a smile on your face. I been away too long.
