I took my LTC class here and I want to thank my instructor, Lee Watkins. I got a lot out of this class, he was very knowledegable but still managed to make the class enjoyable for everyone. I also want to thank the fellas at the front desk, David & Dennis for helping me out when I locked my keys in my car! I managed to get it open but wouldn't have been able to do it without their help. It's a great spot with great people, and I will defintiely be going back for some range time and recommending Quail Creek Range to family & friends.

I haven’t been to many outdoor ranges, but so far this one was the nicest. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and made safety a priority. Compared to gun shops, the ammo was very reasonable. The targets were well below average price. Each range officer took their job serious when it came to the safety of their patrons. I had an opportunity to speak with a couple of the staff members and they were very nice. I forgot to mention, I came on Good Friday and this place was packed. It’s a family friendly environment and I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids the next time that my wife and I are back in Denton.

Went to go shoot my new .308 build and forgot tool to adjust my gas block. Staff didn't have one that fit the size I needed but using a couple different tools they were able to get one to work. Saved me from having a wasted day to having blast shooting my new build.

It's definitely not my favorite range. Their pistol range is adequate. Their rifle range was a disappointment.

I went out with the family on the pistol range. The range guy has issues to say the least. You can always tell some who has no authority anywhere in there life. They over compensate any time they are given any. I have a LTC and have guns and training all my life. He made what was a fun day out absolutely frustrating to the point we just left. I don't see me going back anytime soon that's for sure.

I enjoyed my self very much here all the range masters were great. Just wish they allow FMJ with the size if those berms I don’t think it would be a problem. But one of the best ranges!

Had the worst range experience Sunday July 2. It was not other shooters but 100yrd range staff. I am a Marine with years of experience.I do not criticize people I don’t know, nor will I tolerate it from unqualified individuals. I will not return. Donald and Greg are totally out of place with zero aptitude for ethics and safety. There are much nicer places to go. Now I remember why I stopped going there

Great place, attentive staff, and has a variety of ranges. It has fair prices and appropriate ammunition, weapons and extras for sale.

What type of ridiculous range doesn’t let you shoot fmj rifle rounds??? Fail. Pathetic. What happened to Texas…you all got neutered.

Great outdoor range in the area. Really nice location and for a mid-day semi-cold afternoon, it was great. Used to go to shoot smart to the private lanes but not a big fan of the indoor ranges. They had plenty of open areas for a 25, 50 and higher distance. As well as a handgun section on the opposite side. We didnt have to wait on either side for access to a spot. They were very good amount the gun safety and making sure everyone was responsible with not only the time to change targets but also with making sure people properly were facing their rifles when down not in the wrong directions. This was my worry at a public outdoor range, but they were on top of it and highly appreciate it.Only downside is no FMJ rifle ammo allowed. So you either have to pay a lot for a box through them or stock up prior to. There was a small group of young people trying to one hand shoot to "be cool" which was kind of irritating, more because of the stupidity factor. But most people at least on the rifle side you could tell are gun enthusiasts who care about their shot and their weapon.Definitely my new go-to range.

This place is great! Only wish they had steel targets. I love hearing the DIINGG. Makes me moister than oyster.

Great outdoor range. Got to spend some time with family and doing what we did growing up. Great place and not far from the house.
