I was needing a repair for my vehicle. I am new to the area. I went to Top Shelve Auto repair. It was putting back some under carriage shields that had come off and lose from being in high water. The owner took my vehicle in and fixed both areas front and back. He was very kind, but when I asked him how much I owed him, he said nothing. What a blessing to me. In the times we live in, no one does work for free. God bless the owner. I pray God blessed everything he puts his hands to. Pastor Allan

Nice people, but it’s very apparent they lack the knowledge required to run a mechanic shop. We brought our car and paid $140 for a “diagnosis”. They informed me they couldn’t find anything wrong, but in order to look at spark plugs (which was the area of concern), it would cost another hour of labor on top of the diagnosis.
The point of a diagnosis is to identify the problem. Looking at the spark plugs should have been part of the diagnosis. These guys lack deductive reasoning, unfortunately.
I ended up doing the work myself, and indeed found that the spark plugs needed replaced. This took me about 20 minutes to figure out. I’m not a formally trained mechanic. Just paid attention in shop class 17 years ago.

I brought my vehicle in for a heater cooler job Which requires the whole dash to be pulled, when I picked up the car everything seemed fine they fixed the problem with my heater cooler but my head unit was no longer working what so ever. there is no power to my head unit at all & my wiring from my dash cam is now coming up the top of my dash with the wire sticking straight out, not how it was previously wired before they took it apart (tucked in under the console). When I went back into the shop to let the I suppose owner know about the issues he immediately cut me off and said we didn’t mess with it we didn’t touch any of the wires to it at all. He completely denied having any involvement with it not working and stated that it was nothing he could have possibly done. How does that even make sense when it was working perfectly fine before & now that y'all pulled my whole dash apart it’s not working. But it’s not y’all’s fault? Y’all didn’t mess with it at all? Very bad customer service and standards to deny your work/mistakes with a vehicle when you know it was performed. A complete lie straight to my face makes this shop completely untrustworthy and nobody should ever bring their car here. I also know that he knew it was not working anymore cause right away he cut me off and said he did not mess with the wires, but he didn’t seem to care to tell me before I picked the car up? Not good business what so ever. I just paid $1500 & the guy at the front desk had an attitude the whole time and did not seem to care about making the issue right just proving his point on how there was no way possible he could’ve messed with it but he pulled my whole dash apart? Also after looking at my dash they cracked the top left portion all the way across to the other side but I didn’t hear a single word about that from them. They thought if they didn’t tell me I wouldn’t notice? A Very very poor customer service & untrustworthy shop. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE

Previously called ahead to make an appointment for estimates on my Chevy, runnings some wires for lights on tow mirrors the previous owner didn’t do, along with just replacing them with a different style and an option for lift kit/level wanted a professional to do the job and online they seemed good.
Today I went in and started talking to someone that came to the desk explained that I wanted a quote on at least running additional wires or swapping mirrors out and before I could finish was immediately shut down and interrupted by the man and claimed he didn’t care to do the job and then went onto complaining they could make more money doing other basic repairs I couldn’t even get out that I wanted a lift installed. Will take my business elsewhere Definitely won’t go here for any basic repairs.
Fastest I’ve ever been in and out of an auto shop before.

Would highly recommend this shop. Took my truck here with an engine issue. The warranty company gave large amounts of pushback and tried not to cover the fix but the guys at Top Shelf Auto were able to prove that this issue was indeed under warranty and went out of their way to ensure all parties acted ethically and upheld their contractual obligations. Overall I’m super happy with the work and my truck is running like it did the day I bought it.

Car was repaired with a zip tie. Was told at time of pick up that this was my only option for repair- no prior discussion about this I just happened to see it on the receipt. They stated that part was discontinued and no longer available.. Took my car to the dealership who ordered the correct part for an appropriate repair. They mentioned that part was back ordered, but there were 14 available from Jeep dealerships and that there are also 3rd party options available as well.

Went in for an inspection they got me right in. Took 5 min. Paid less than other places. Staff so friendly
