Updating this review to 4 stars. I didn't have the greatest experience with the S.fry location, but had a great experience with the one off bunker hill. Looking forward to them taking care of my fur baby! I also love that it's inside of pet smart. Super convenient.

I won't go to this strange hospital again. I had an appointment with a Korean doctor that I had booked a few weeks ago for 8:30 AM today. Suddenly, they said there was no Korean doctor available. I went there because I'm more comfortable with a Korean doctor due to the language, but when they said there was none, I had no choice but to go back home. They said the next available appointment is not until September 30th, a month from now. However, they claimed they couldn't reach me either because the doctor suddenly wasn't available. I think even though my appointment was at 8:30, they had enough time to call me before that. I won't go to this hospital again! Also, I once took my pregnant cat to an American vet, and they insisted on doing an ultrasound. So, I did the ultrasound, and the doctor said there were only one or two kittens in her belly, but my cat gave birth to six kittens. How could the doctor be so wrong? Even though I don't know much, I could tell better than the doctor by looking at the ultrasound. I won't go back to this hospital again!? Also I called to cancel the wellness plan and they told me to pay a penalty on a very large amount of money. Never take a wellness plan. This hospital is so terrible!

DO NOT get the Plan:1. There is never appointment available when your dog is sick. My dog got sick once, I called them, they said they don’t have any appointments for three days and that they are a preventative service provider they cannot provide emergency service , which means the so called no visiting fee is barely useable- you still need to go to an emergency hospital.2. My package is about to expire I did not renew it, they saw it and use all kinds of excuses to refuse giving my dog vaccines.Horrible horrible experience

Yesterday on 7/28 my dog Bentley had an appointment to see about his allergies and ear infection; he was also given a rabies vaccine. My issue is the level of care that my dog did not receive; Bentley had developed an allergy to the grass at our new home and due to his itching his fur has a couple rough patches, I was hoping to get him a prescription for Apoquel to treat it along with the same treatment plan he had for his previous ear infection. However instead of addressing my concerns the vet on duty insisted on various other treatments that weren’t necessary and costly, my main reason for wanting apoquel was due to Bentley getting stressed at the vet(he had to be muzzled) so having to constantly come back to the vet isn’t good for him. Also the shots that he suggested I didn’t like the reviews…the vet refused to give Bentley any alternative treatment other than the shot nor would he prescribe his previous ear infection treatment because I refused to pay for extra testing that wasn’t needed. The vet seemed more interested in up-charging than finding an alternative; he also spoke to me in a very rude and condescending tone in an attempt to guilt trip me into paying nearly $700 in the moment and another $150+ every time I would have to come in to get Bentley this allergy shot. Also telling me that I do not care about my animal is extremely out of line i took my dog and left I’m thoroughly disgusted and still upset at what happened.

I went in this afternoon to see if they could see my 4 month old puppy as he was acting lethargic. I know you have to have an appointment especially on the weekends but I went in at around 1:30 pm and the office was completely empty! The lady in the front just said "we don't have any appointments until tomorrow but you can take him to the vet across the street, they take walk-ins". Did not even offer a drop off or say why don't you wait here for a while and maybe we can see if there are any cancellations of maybe we can squeeze you in. Not helpful at all, didn't even ask for my phone # to look at our account so she could see that we have been going to Banfield for 11 years now with our other dog! I pay $70 a month each for both of my dogs wellness plans, why would I want to go across the street to pay full price for any tests and exams! I have always had great experiences there but now I will be looking at wellness plans elsewhere for my 2 dogs!

Overall it’s a good vet with good staff, but I’m stuck in the remaining 6 months of a 1 year membership. I have no need to bring a dog there, but I still have to pay $41/month. Customer service wasn’t much help. You may not want to sign a contract.

Very rude staff members, I have been trying to get an International Health Certificate for my dog, they always have it wrong and been making mistakes and I haven’t been able to travel since they are making so many mistakes. If you are planning to use their services, just look somewhere else.

I would give negative stars if that were an option. They over charge and under perform on simple duties. They're aloof and not understanding. Never EVER take any of your pets there if you care about them, but if you want to pay the extra money to visit them they'll gladly take your money and screw you on the back end. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN FOR EMERGENCIES.

RUDE STAFF. I am reading their reviews and everyone complains about how rude the staff is. Jyline (I think that was her name) saw us in the office was very nice; HOWEVER, the front desk white lady with the long hair was UNNECESSARILY RUDE.I received an emergency call that I needed to attend in the moment, but my mom was there to check in our dog, my mom speaks just a little of English. My mom was communicating with the other lady in the back office fine and they were just using the phone to translate, because when I talked to the assistant she told me everything that my mom said, so communication was not a problem. But the lady in the front desk kept interrupting my call twice being LOUD AND RUDE for no reason saying that I needed to get inside ASAP to translate. (?)DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE SINCE PEOPLE HERE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CLIENTS.

Zero rating. I just left Banfield Cinco South for the last time! I have taken 8 of my dogs here over the last 13 years and will never take any of them back. I just made the difficult decision that it was time to euthanize my 16 year old dog. We made the appointment for 2:00 and when we arrived we were sent to the euthanasia room where we were greeted by an employee asking what we were here for today. That's when I should have left! I said we were here to euthanize our dog and she proceeded to ask me how the medicine they put her on 2 days prior had worked. I said we are here to euthanize so her question was quite stupid. She explained that they would take our dog to get a catheter put in and then bring her back to the room. Over 30 minutes passed and we began asking where she was. The staff we encountered was very unsympathetic and to be honest quite robotic with there response to our concern. Our dog was finally brought back to us along with the arrival of the most uncaring, unsympathetic vet I have ever met. She looked liked she was irritated to have to be at work on a Sunday! Dr.Dilraj Dhami then proceeded to attempt to inject the first solution to relax the dog first and followed by the injection into the catheter of the solution to stop the heart. There was absolutely no caring or comments about what was happening. I assumed it had been administered and asked if I could hold my dog now. She said in a very uncaring way yes. It was then she told me that nothing had been injected due to a faulty catheter. She then plopped her body in a chair in the corner and stared at us!!! I asked what was going on and she just stared at me and said they would have to redo the catheter. She just sat there staring at us. I was getting so upset as was my husband and son and daughter. She continued to sit there and do nothing as I am holding my sick dog. She said they have to redo it and I said what are you doing just sitting there?!?! She then asked if we would like to take our pet somewhere else!!!!!!! WHAT?!?!?! At this point a girl from the front desk with brown hair and thick black glasses came in to tell us if we didn't calm down we would have to leave. I apologized for using swear words but at this point who wouldn't be swearing!!!! This was so traumatic I can't even believe it! Finally, a wonderful girl with blue hair came in and told us how sorry she was for what was happening and explained what we needed to do. I'm so sorry I didn't get her name because she was the only caring person there that day. They finally took our baby to the back and had to euthanize her via jugular. I am so sad, angry, traumatized by this entire day. I lost my baby and they made it horrific!!!! I will not continue to use them for my other 2 dogs and I pray no one ever has to be treated like we were today.

Very friendly staff and vet. Though my cat was shaking when taking the blood work, but the experience here is far better than the prior Banfield location in CA. My cat was relaxed and happy after the semi annual checkup. Where before she was always exhausted when we take her home. The clinic is clean.

I'm not happy to even give 1 star. Forget this place! Staffs are rude! We've seen this vet for a while now unfortunately kahal has changed! She felt too entitled and important! Banfield charged too much and a money pit! Don't be late even for a few minutes she will not see your dog or charge you the same just for talking to her out of clinic. Will never be back to this place ever again! Stay away!!!

If I can give a ZERO I will!!!..never will I ever take our babies back in this place!!!..I've been taking my babies in Banfield for years, started when they were still inside PetSmart in Bella Terra. The staff then were so nice, approachable and always had smiling faces. Now this place has been so different. This is my 2nd time I had encountered staff that were very rude, unapologetic(if they are, don't see it, don't feel it!!), attitude of the worse kind! Totally bad customer service!!!zero phone etiquette!!!Staff Ashley is the worse!!..if you don't like your job quit!!! Being busy is never an excused to be a bitch to your paying customers!!!..u just lost us!! And our friends and more!!!

Horrible service, very unfriendly staff. Place was so dirty that we never wanted to touch or sit anywhere. We took our cat to this place. They did not have the examining table cleaned for our pet, We could see hair of previous animal still on that examining table. Also we brought all kinds of animal hair to our car. This place was nasty dirty!! ??

Great experience! To Pugsley for vaccine, neuter and microchip... girls were kind and helpful... Fast. Communicative. Yes.
