I am very upset with the services here. We brought our new puppy here to get a free exam. She had diarrhea as soon as we walked in. The vet refused to see her and made us believe that she was dying from parvo. We found out from a different vet that we took her to today, that it was just food allergies and that she is not sick at all. I do NOT appreciate them scaring us so much like that. We will never come back here and do not recommend anyone else to either.

I do like the staff here. They are very pet friendly. However this is the slowest vetco service I've ever experienced and ive been to quite a few. I had an appointment at 2:30pm and still waiting at 4pm. Very frustrating because they aren't even communicating

Took my dog to a grooming appt with the Halloween package, that includes a Halloween bandana. When it was time to pick her up, no bandana and no information about it, till my daughter noticed. Went back to inquire about it and their response was that they haven't received their shipment yet. Then why advertise it? Why not let the customer know from the beginning that there is no Halloween bandana? I said that I shouldn't get charged for the so called Halloween package!! So the groomer went to the store and got a random Halloween themed scarf from the shelf. It looked like it was for a CAT!! Not a happy customer!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE GROOMERS HERE! I just moved to the area and made an appointment with the Petco to have my dog groomed over the phone. I showed up on the day of and walked my dog into the grooming area (which was extremely dirty and nasty and made me hesitant to even leave my dog with them). The two women in this area were extremely rude and acted annoyed the entire time. I had brought in the vaccination records that they had asked for, however I was told that they were the last years shot records (my mistake) so I quickly sent over a scan of the most recent records. I also tried to call back to verify several times and they literally just didn't answer the phone. They very rudely called me back and told me to "come get my dog, we don't have time to groom him anymore". I had been told this was going to be a 4 hour appt and with the shot record mistake taking up the first 30 minutes, I asked if they would just do a short bath and face groom only (instead of the full groom) and they said no, which is fine but they were incredibly rude. Worst customer service ever, women in grooming room were soooooo rude, they will tell you to come get your dog if they don't have time anymore, and they were not even being nice to the two small dogs that were in there getting their hair cut. DONT DO IT!

I went to Petco to have my dog vaccinated, the staff were great, the Vet was wonderful. However, to my dismay they had them set in the middle of the sore and just given a podium and a table, just stupid. It's crazy the you can't find a suitable spot for the team, but you have a whole section for training. Poor management and planning. No regards for the staff , the pets and owners just standing around the store waiting to be called. My one star rating is not for the staff but for the inconsiderate management. Shame on you!!!!

I was really excited to get my dogs first haircut done . I made an appointment for 12 and they said it could take up to 4 hours but expect it to be sooner . I called around 2:30 because I had work at three they said he would be done by 3:30 so I arranged for someone else to pick him up for me. When they showed up to pick him up she was told it would be another hour and that they haven't even started. What we're you doing with my dog for the last 3 1/2 hours ? He was just sitting in a kennel? What is the point of the appointment time if he's waiting for3 1/2 hours just to get started ! Unbelievable and they weren't even kind enough to let us know what was going on. It is currently 4:05 He is still not done UPDATE : he was don't at 4:30 UGLIEST HAIRCUT looks like it was done by a 5 year old. Looks rushed I am not happy ANOTHER UPDATE: just got home from work to take a look at him myself. His whiskers are cut and his balls are razor burned and swollen beyond belief I will have to take him to the vet. Not okay 72 dollars for 4 hours of him being locked in a crate a 30 minute haircut and pain for my pup. What a terrible first experience for him and for me
