Dr. John is great. We are about halfway through and I can definitely see improvement in my kiddo. He is also full of knowledge and loves to share it. So glad we found him ?

We truly cannot even begin to describe the impact Dr. John has had on our family. My 7 week old had a poor experience post tie release and didn’t receive the proper body work prior. She wasn’t eating much and was so uncoordinated even with a bottle, was inconsolable, and was arching a ton. After a few days of intensive treatment, this little gal is a changed lady. His adjustments were so customized to her and he was so intuitive and in tune with her. She’s eating consistently and we’re slowly working back to breastfeeding, she is happy and consolable, and her neurological tension is almost gone. He’s allowed us to bond and recover some of what was lost in our bonding experience. So thankful!

My 3 year old song, Jack, had a life-threatening fall when he was 8 months old. It fractured several places in the base of his skull, and truly only by the grace of God is he still here today. He was the miracle baby at Texas Children’s Hospital & the Neurologists couldn’t explain why he was even still with us, but mostly why he didn’t suffer much worse brain injury than he did.So, a few months back I started to notice he began to stutter when he spoke. Not a slight stutter of a 3 year old learning words, but a full on block of any verbalization. And it hit him out of nowhere. One day he just…forgot how to get words out. I knew in my mom gut it had to do with the fall. I just felt it. Something cranial is going on and it’s affecting his speech.Enter Dr. John Caruso at Haven Family Chiropractic in Katy. He is a Pediatric Chiropractor who not only specializes in body work, but also in cranial sacral therapy as well. He got us in quick, learned all about Jack’s medical history, and immediately ran thermal scans and other tests on his spine and skull to see what was going on. And of course we found misalignments and blocks right where we knew they would be. All around the base of the skull and even in his lumbar region. There was a lot of residual trauma in Jack’s little head and spine from this fall. All of this impacting the Vagus nerve which sends signals to the brain and can be connected to speech.So, we got to work right away with 3 days a week of cranial work (like crazy cool stuff- inside his mouth work stuff too) for a month and twice a week for the remaining two months.At exactly 4 weeks of cranial work, Jack’s stutter was completely gone. Not sort of gone and comes back here and there…gone.I have always believed in chiropractic care, but this is just next level. I would have gone straight into speech therapy for him this year had I not found Dr. John to diagnose a nerve/cranial misalignment as the root cause first.Go with your gut, Mamas. And for anyone in the Houston/Katy area looking for a Pediatric specialist to look more holistically into your children, I couldn’t recommend him more. Not to mention he is the kindest and most gentle man and he makes your babies feel so comfortable. ❤️

Dr John is so good with Ryan! We have seen amazing progress with Ryan’s speech and his sleep has greatly improved as well. Looking forward to more progress as we continue to visit Dr John.

Dr. John is great! Very knowledgeable, caring and personable. He played a vital role getting my 4 month old prepared for a tongue-tie revision by releasing tension during adjustments and suggested at-home exercises to help improve results.
