This location has some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Had a rental for several months through my insurance company. Throughout the rental, there were so many problems. First car I received was a convertible, which leaked when it rained. Asked to change vehicles, and was basically told NO - we're too busy to do a swap now. Try again another time.Next, I was told I HAD to come up to the location to sign some important documentation related to my rental. I had to drop everything while I was at work and head over. When I got there, the agent had no idea what I was talking about and the agent who called me (already went home of course) was mistaken. Complete waste of a couple hours.Finally, after I thought I was completely done with this place, I see a charge on my personal card for a portion of the rental. My insurance company had covered several previous payments, why would they not cover this payment? Turns out they would have - all Hertz needed to do was contact them and request the payment or let me know my insurance company needed to authorize another payment. Laziness dictated to the agent that it was just easier to charge my card and have me deal with insurance and getting reimbursed.Sadly, the above statements are just the highlights of dealing with Hertz Katy Mason. There was constant rudeness and poor customer service with EVERY interaction.Please stay away from this terrible location! I know I will.

The woman who picked up was not helpful and did not try to see if she could help me rent a vehicle. She seemed in a rush, very short words, and in a hurry to hang up. Please train better customer service.

I had a very good experience with this Hertz location. I owe it all to Gabby. She is a kind and empathetic person.When I first found out my car insurance was was only giving me a discount through Hertz, I was a little worried after reading all of these negative reviews. However, Gabby took care of me and went the extra step for me. She didn’t have to, but she did bc she is a good person. I’m sure the other employees here are just as compassionate. The gentleman who picked me up and took me to this location was also very kind.People usually leave reviews when they’re dissatisfied. Honestly, it makes me question the behavior of some these reviewers. I can’t speak to that, but I can speak to my experience. This Hertz location, specifically Gabby, went above and beyond for me in a challenging time and I sincerely appreciate that. Hertz corporate— someone give her a raise!

First time renting from this location. Dominique was great in finding the vehicle we wanted from our reservation. Vehicle was great and didn’t have any issues.

This was my first time renting through Hertz and it was smooth and trouble free. The car was smooth throughout the rental term and the staff educated me through getting a refund for 3rd party insurance I purchased that isn't recognized by Hertz.Gabrielle at the location was a huge help and positively added to the experience.

Among the chaos of holiday travel Hertz failed to have a vehicle ready as per my previous reservation. Although that part of the experience was upsetting, the fact that Gabrielle (Gabby) went the extra mile to help me locate a vehicle is what makes this review a 5 star. She could have simply told me I was out of luck. She helped me find a vehicle, not the one I reserved but a reliable vehicle for my commute. Thanks to her, I was able to travel with the peace of mind or a reliable vehicle. She was pleasant and helpful. I will continue to do business with Hertz in this location because of her. Thank you, Gabby from Hertz.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had an issue with a car I rented from another Hertz location and the lady who answered quickly said "return it to the airport " as I was asking about if I could exchange my vehicle at another location she said "we are out of cars"Avoid this place. This isn't the first bad attitude I've encountered in the Houston area Hertz locations.

My wife and I went on a 10 day road trip and rented a 2023 Suburban. The vehicle was clean, performed perfectly, and very comfortable to drive. We had unlimited mileage on our vehicle and that was nice. Hertz even checked on us about 24 hours after the initial rental to ensure everything was working right. I felt Hertz gave us a great rate. I made sure the tank was filled, the vehicle was washed and vacuumed just because we got such a great deal. Dominique Jackson was our rep and she was awesome.

This idiots gave my car away when I was running late. No call, nothing. Just drove an hour to pick it up and it's just not here. Thanks for nothing.

We rented a vehicle from this location. The truck was half full and filthy when we picked it up, but we were pressed for time and decided to take the vehicle anyways. Before driving off, We notified the lady at the desk that the tank was not on full. She came out and took a photo of the dashboard and said she would update the records. I returned the vehicle on time with half a tank of gas. When I received the final receipt, I was charged over $110 for refuel charges for not returning the tank on full. I contacted the location and spoke to the manager Jabbar who said he would credit the fuel charges, but that it would take about 4 weeks to reflect. I called periodically during that time and was told that the refund was pending and to give it up to 6 weeks. 6 weeks later, I call and the charges have not been credited. I called the location and spoke to a nice young lady named Gabrielle who was able to provide me a photo of the fuel tank at pick up so that I could go through Hertz corporate to get a refund. One email later and a phone call to Hertz corporate and I am finally refunded my money after almost two months. Never again will I rent from this location.

Terrible terrible experience!!! Super unprofessional with no regard for customer service or customer satisfaction! Beware of this location ! It would be worth it to go a little further down the street to the other hertz location . FYI . Your car , Even the hertz cars get towed from the parking lot . Caution !!!!!!!

We use them for renting cars for work trips. Fast and efficient service. Great, clean cars. Really like that they rent Teslas.

Gave me a car thats extremely dirty and damaged, smells like tobacco mixed with weed, and was only half full when they gave it to me. They are also impossible to get a hold of over the phone. I’m trying to swap this car out and there’s nobody to assist me, the worker at this location told me that another Hertz would have available swap out cars and when I checked with the one near Kirkwood, they told me they had none available. Extremely frustrating, wish I chose the neighboring Enterprise instead.
