Katy Mills is a climate controlled indoor shopping mall located approximately 25 miles west of downtown Houston. It is home to over 175 stores, featuring a high-fashion line-up of famous brands and outlets. The mall is considered a cool and contemporary place to shop with a good mix of stores for all sorts of interests. It offers several variations to choose from and is noted for having deals matching those at other outlet centers. The mall provides shopping and entertainment, including an AMC theatre, a gaming area, good restaurants, and a food court. It is described as a good place for children because there are numerous playgrounds and kiddie stuff in the area. The layout is a mile in circumference, which some find good for exercise. It has ample parking space with around 8 gates, though it is a good walk from one end to the other. While the mall is pretty clean, it is starting to show its age and is undergoing construction and renovation. Some halls can be narrow because of this work. Visitors recommend going early to shop without a big crowd. Overall, it is a highly recommended destination with plenty to do and experience.

Tons of stores and options to choose from. They have added a few new stores and taken away a couple of my favs. The mall could use another renovation inside and in the parking lot. Overall a good convenient outlet mall.

Katy Mills has plenty of stores and options. However it gets a bit too busy on weekends due to the small size of the mall. Definitely worth it though. Especially if you enjoy Bass Pro shops.
