Gas prices are a bit higher than Murphy's but, lower than the other gas stations in the general area. It's always clean. The squeegees seem to always be in good shape and they usually have paper towels available! They keep it well-lit!

I am seriously about to Stop shopping at this location! Every time I go here there's some type of issue. Today my interaction with two employees was not pleasant. Lady at gas station was very unprofessional standing in front of of store speaking loudly with another person discussing politics. She was using profanity and spewing incorrect information! All in her Kroger uniform.

I'm quick to complain about Kroger but today kudos times 100 to Kroger at West Little York and Fry Rd. I went at 7:30am and expected shelves to be bare after the Sunday shoppers cleaned everything out as they usually do weekly but to my pleasant surprise this store was so clean and well stocked. Only one thing they were out of. It was a good experience. Now to do a little baking.

Super and extremely bad customer services. My mom bought a steak on sale but was charged for the original price. I asked the cashier--her name is MCKINZIE-- about it and she responded with a mean attitude. She lied and told us that the price was shown original but got deducted ???? After carefully checked, it was nothing like she said. I asked her again and then she stated that there was nothing she could do about it. I asked to see the manager/supervisor, she pointed as a guy in red shirt and started to laugh. The supervisor was useless at his best, he said that there was NOTHING he could do, period. At that time, they all started to laugh. I don't see what was so funny about it. It was a very bad experience. We fixed the problem by talking to a different cashier who was working at the self-check out. She was very nice and helped us to fix the problem within a minute. It's a simple fix, they just didn't want to do it at all. By the way, if the supervisor didn't know how to do it, then how he got to that position? And how was laughing to the customer faces appropriate in this situation?

The receipt printers never work. If you fuel up after hours, there is no one there to provide the receipt.

I shop at this store roughly once a week and almost always something I scan will come up the wrong price. Not less than the advertised price, but always more. This annoying and illegal practice didn't get any better when they dropped their policy of giving you the wrongly scanned item free. However there is one bright star at this store named Joshua who is very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. This person should be given a raise and/or promotion as his customer service skills are above and beyond.

For years, I've been coming to this grocery store with a bunch of other people that live in New York. It has consistently been the only place we've all encountered that will deny all our credit cards every single time. As if it's impossible that I could live in NYC, and want to buy groceries in Katy, TX. (Hmmm.) Well, I'm here today to report that they must have toned down their fraud protection or whatever it was, but our credit cards finally went through without a hitch. So this is mostly useless information that I am glad to share with you. Not Useless Information: This is an enormous grocery store that carries pretty much everything you need. Tons of fruit, vegetables, sauces, snacks, drinks, and just about anything you can think of. My #1 favorite thing about this place is that the sound system will play thunder sounds before all the produce is sprayed with water. Other things on the plus side: Fruit prices are amazing if you own a knife and are willing to use it. Pineapples were 89 cents apiece, and one cut pineapple was $5. Buy a knife, people. The meat is crazy cheap. Maybe because it's Texas, but I've seen ribs for $2/lb., standing rib roasts on sale, whole pork shoulders for $10...it's nuts. Do you want anything of Mexican origin? They've got it. Tons of dried chiles, ready to eat tamales, and a whole Hispanic drink section with all the Jarritos and Topo Chico you'd ever want. On the minus side: The organic meat section is essentially non-existent, and if they do have anything, it's pre-seasoned/marinated. Apparently there are no tree-huggers in Texas, and if there are, they don't know how to cook. They have tons of cheese, but the selection isn't as comprehensive as one might like. But they do have Rondele, the spreadable crack that will make me obese. They have tons of beer, but the selection isn't as comprehensive as one might like. I just want Guinness draught cans, people.
