After my issues below, Tommy Rodgers the General Manager reached out to me on a Saturday and asked me to bring it up Monday and he would make sure it was fixed and taken care of. When I dropped it off he said it could take a week or so. Wednesday night I received a call that it was ready and I could pick it up on Thursday. I was skeptical at first because it had been only 3 days and my last 2 experiences nowhere that fast. The truck was clean and repainted and looks like a totally different truck. No more swirls, blemishes or paint defects. 100 percent different experience. Definitely recommend Maaco Katy and appreciate the quick response and corrections. Thank you Tommy and Maaco.
(Previous)I took my truck into Maaco Katy off Mason Road in December 2025 for a quarter panel replacement and the high end exterior paint job. I was told it would take approximately 2 weeks or 3 at the most. They said they had issues with the paint and had to repaint it. In total they had it about 6 weeks. After about 4 or 5 months months I took it back because the paint job had defective areas, fading, swirl marks, bubbling, etc. Abel scheduled an appointment to see what they could do with it and said it would take about a week. 2 weeks later I got it back. The hood issue and the roof issue were taken care of , but the swirls which I have now been told from a detailing service are permanent and caused from high speed buffing it incorrectly during the painting process, so basically the 3500 plus I paid for the paint job (not including the quarter panel replacement), 5000 plus total was pretty much wasted and the truck needs repainted. I will be calling Abel to see if I can schedule an appointment and hopefully they correct this and I can give a more favorable review. Right now frustrated that I have to take it back a 3rd time.

Very pleased with the paint jobs Maaco did for my 2 older vehicles! The quality and price was incredible. I was skeptical at how the prices where so good after getting quotes 2-3 times higher from other places. I highly recommend there work and glad I used them. Also Matthew & Tommy the service advisors where top notch too!

If I could give zero stars I would. If there’s another Maaco nearby, I recommend going there. Tommy and Matthew are both rude and dismissive, and they always make you feel like you’re bothering them or inconveniencing them. Tommy is especially confrontational. When I told him I didn’t want to discuss his behavior in front of other customers, he walked right up to me and demanded we talk about it then and there. He even accused me of being hostile because I didn’t want to discuss it at that moment. I was trying to spare him from a scene in front of customers, but honestly, I should’ve just given him what he wanted. Spend your money where you’re treated right.

Amazing people first and foremost. Tommy was a privilege to work with. He handled everything from start to finish. Worked with the insurance company on my behalf and gave constant updates. Aside from an exceptional service, a genuine human being who took time to understand my needs as a customer even vouching to the insurance company on my behalf. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Definitely coming back!
