This shop is awesome, feels like you are hanging out with your friends talking about guns. What really gets me is how honest they are and how much they care about the customer getting the correct weapon/accessory over just a sale. Going in here no matter if you are going to purchase an expensive rifle or just want to see a gun, they really go the extra mile.

This shop will ask for 100% payment in advance before the background check goes through, while the academy and Basspro require $0 down. Even Katy Gun Gear, the same private gun shop, only asks for 50% down. They want $40 for a transfer, while the average transfer fee is $25. They even recommended a 10mm Rock Island 1911 for a 150-lb figure like I am. Just go somewhere else, there are tons of gun shops in the Houston area.

Had been to the old location before to browse but today I got to check out the new shop, needless to say I loved it. Brian Durand was a great help today. 5 star customer service and an overall great experience, will be exclusively using this store for all my firearm needs going forward!!

I used their services to ship a firearm to an independent buyers FFL. When I called, “they” answered the phone, were helpful and professional. Upon arrival, the process was fast and thorough. Great shop!

These guys are awesome. I’ve purchased multiple suppressors from Payne Brothers, built my dream SBR and they even had all parts necessary to build my 1000 yard rifle. Mitch is an amazing gunsmith, offering great advice with details you may have over looked as well as a knowledgeable staff members who are always willing to help with any questions. I highly recommend any further and future purchases with Payne Brothers.

I’ve been to countless gun stores across Florida, Alabama, and Texas. Called this place today because I recently acquired a .300 Blackout which is having a problem with the bolt catch. Told the gentleman on the phone that issue, and that I would need him to take it apart for me but I would pay for any additional parts that might need to be replaced if that were to be the case. Never once have I been told there would be a fee for “diagnosing” the already diagnosed gun. As a gun owner, it has NEVER been an issue for a shop to take apart a firearm for me to replace parts that I am buying from that store… if the fee was reasonable I would not be making this review… but he wanted $85? Yeah, HAHA no… I’m already buying your overpriced parts dude, quit being greedy. I’ll never do business here again.
