So didn't not know since January they charge you .10 a bag now. Been shopping they all year and now someone asked me if I would like a bag and of course I am like yes....They then scaned something and I had to ask what they where scanning. That is when they told me about they charge for bags.So it would be nice to be informed about this when costumers check out.

ZERO STARSSSSSThe ladies that work in the grooming dept are the worst people I’ve come in contact with in my entire life! I don’t know the red head name, but my pups had her and Tiffany. When I arrived w my pups they were already talking to the customer in front of me rudely and I should’ve taken that as a sign to just walk out on the appointment. At my turn to check in they were equally rude to me as well! They wear their frustration on their sleeves and I’m sure the dogs pick up on as well . They called me about an hour after drop off saying they wont serve my dog because she slipped out of a harness. I didn’t press the issue with them and immediately went to pick her up because I should’ve followed my first mind and never left my dogs there in the first place. They had already started on my other dog so it was too late to yourecall his appt but they did a HORRIBLE job on him as well! The red head was in the back yelling at dogs so if your dog was at this location on 17 November and your dog acted weird after pickup, just know the red head witch treated them terrible! I don’t know why a people who seemly appear to dislike animals would chose to work with them but you’ve been warned about this location! Oh, and after all their rude, condescending, terrible behavior they will expect a tip from you so be prepared for the laugh! Petco, don’t write me, don’t call me for feedback, don’t reply with that remark you give all the bad reviews you have here about grooming because you don’t EVER have have to worry about seeing my dogs again! I’ll also be taking my dog food/toy budget over to a small business! Fire the red head and her side kick Tiffany dogs don’t do well around horrible people!

My new favorite pet store. I go here for all of my questions and also just to walk around and see what new crawlers they have lol Paige is amazing and very informative! I am pretty comfortable going in knowing that I’ll be helped without prejudice and given the assistance I need promptly. Happy to get the rewards as well, the cashier always reminds me upon checking out that I can save money. That’s a plus!

Only giving 2 stars cause even though they are not the best veterinary they treat my dog well, but the grooming department are unprofessional they told that I cant bring back my dog because he tried to bite when they were doing his nails, but since then I have take my dog to other places and have never received complaints. So I don't know what they do to him cause at other places he behave well.

Terrible experience with the grooming department. I can't remember the groomers name but she had red hair. She was very rude. She clearly doesn't like dogs or her job or both. The tones of the staff voices were as if they didn't enjoy working there and they couldnt wait to put mt dogs in the kennels. I've never had issues with my dogs getting groomed before and they called to say my dogs were unmanageable. They clearly don't have experience with large dogs or according to the other reviews this is a recurring issue with rhe staff. I honestly think my dogs didn't like the groomers negative energy and wanted to get out of there asap. Either way, they canceled my dogs grooming appointment, they still get paid while I had to waste my day driving back and forth.And they forgot to put 1 of my dogs collars on, I didn't notice until I got home (they were trying to rush my dogs out quickly). Rather than call me and tell me, I had to get back into my car and return to the store just for them to deny that my 1 dog came into the store with a collar and they didnt have it. After searching for several minutes, they "found it in the back". The rude grooming staff was off-putting and I would never recommend anyone to go there for grooming needs.

Brought my 8 MONTH old MALTIPOO for her grooming appointment, only to be called back by Jessica within 15 minutes and told I needed to come pick my puppy back up because she was "too aggressive". If you're a dog groomer and afraid of a 8 month old maltipoo, sorry honey you're in the wrong profession. What a waste of my time.

I brought my dog in to be groomed at this petco location since it was closer to home. My dog was dropped off at 12:45 PM for his grooming appointment. At 2:05 PM I received a call from Lionel to mention that my dog snapped/growled while he was bringing him out the crate. He informed me that we were denied services at this location at the request of the manager Jessica. Lionel was very apologetic and assured that my dog did not bite him or anything but the manager (Jessica)was walking by when this happened and took it upon herself to cancel appointment. We arrived to pick up my dog and I went out back to retrieve my dog, Jessica who was in the grooming room opened the door and screamed at my husband and child that only 1 person goes back. My husband asked to speak with her but she closed the door and began to gossip/giggle with the other stylist. Very unprofessional. Due to this experience. I don’t recommend this Petco location for grooming.

*****GET LIONEL A RAISE excellent customer service, so helpful and patient trough it all, can’t wait for my pet to be seen my him instead!!! Tried scheduling a grooming appointment for my pet but was told that he was black listed because he was aggressive and growling the last time they saw him. The last time they saw him would’ve been the first time my pet was going to be there but he didn’t even make it past the doors because they stated his ears were too matted…so how is just having matted ears the same as being aggressive and growling?? I made an appointment and turns out it was going to be with the same girls that saw him for those 3 minutes at the door and they chose to cancel my appointment again even after I told them my pet has no Matted hair so it wouldn’t be a problem the day of but no they still chose to not take him in. I keep seeing other reviews with the same problem, Petco grooming needs to hire more people that actually want to do their job.

Hurt my dog a couple of times by cutting him too close. Had to buy medication and bring to the vet twice after his grooming sessions.Manager flagged my dog in the computer so I could not schedule appointments after I shared with them that they had injured my dog several times. And I explained to them that they were cutting him too close each time that it happened and that I understand that people make mistakes but they continued to cut him up very badly. So every month they made me have to call and speak with a manager to schedule an appointment for my dog. They would continue with this for over a year until they finally forced us away to another grooming spot. The manager ran off in a tangent once and accused me of expecting them to pay for my dogs injuries, however I never once asked them to pay for his meds or his vet bill. They are responsible and rightfully they should have paid for his vet bills for the damages they caused to my dog. I didn't ask for anything except that they would not cut to the flesh near his private parts. Is that asking for too much? The manager was very nasty and talked down to us as if we were less than an average customer and treated us as if we didn't deserve an explanation for the situation and that we didn't matter. The manager had more of a (Karen) type attitude towards us every time we spoke with her. Yes we paid approximately $130- $150 every month and we always tipped 20% or more.Month after month they would make us call them and come in to make his appointment, write down the method and cut styling that we wanted, make notes not to cut too close to his private areas and still cut him up. Finally after more than a year one day they said that they couldn't take my dog anymore because of the notes about the cuts and injuries sustained by the dog which have been documented the entire time. Don't go here. I don't know what their policy is when a dog has an accident in the store - maybe its not part of their job to clean up. I have a Sr. dog, she couldn't hold it and urinated on the floor. An 'associate' was right there putting up stock. I said "excuse me, my dog had an accident..." and before I could say anything else, she rudely pointed me to a "station" with a big roll of cheap paper towels & a sign that said accidents were no big deal. It was a significant puddle and I pulled more than half the roll down trying to sop it all up. I am a Sr. Citizen too and I don't bend well - my knees don't bend at all. I'm trying to bend over and clean this up and I keep grabbing more and more paper towels, and then holding the dripping towels in my hand so I can throw them in the trash container - which is full - and I asked for a mop or some help and was totally ignored. I used half that roll and by this time I'm having a hard time just breathing, my poor little girl is scared & I want to get her out of there, but I'm still bending over wiping up the floor and picking up urine-soaked towels in my hands. Maybe this was my fault - I always clean up after my dogs when I take them out, but I asked for help and was ignored. I've seen many people watch their dogs urinate or defecate and they just walk away - without even notifying anyone. Maybe I should have just done that. It would certainly have risked a slip and fall, as well as a potential health hazard for other animals and people, but if Petco wants those lawsuits..... I asked for 'wet floor' sign to put up and was ignored. My 72-year-old disabled husband came in to see what was taking me so long, saw me, saw the 'associate' 4 feet away, with her back to me, and asked her for a mop. She finally acknowledged him and muttered "I'll clean it up from here". I got up and my now-scared little dog and I limped out - leaving what we were going to purchase behind.

Truly one of the best Veterinarian visits I’ve ever had! Dr. Martinez and Amaya took amazing care of us! I’ve tried multiple different vets and we’ve FINALLY found one who truly cares. I’m coming back next week to bring my older beagle! Thanks again ??

Came in about 12:30pm on a Tuesday to buy about $35 worth of cat food and was told they don't have change for $100 bill????? And I would have to pay with card or go get change..why does a store of this size not have proper change on THE ONLY REGISTER OPEN???? Then the the store employee (Paige) made it seem like I'm the problem "most people just pay with a card"..... Will definitely look at online alternatives to Petco when I get home !!!!!

This place only cares about money and unnecessary procedures to charge you more. I brought my cat twice for a situation of heavy diarrhea. First time I did a test and they only prescribed probiotics and deworming. Second time they insisted in a giardiasis test, I did it and was negative. Nothing was prescribed even knowing that the cat had diarrhea. They wanted to do vaccines and things that I didn’t want and declined. Today I called to see if they could prescribe something to help my cat, and they wanted me to go there. For what? To pay again $40 wellness check, insist in expensive exams, charge me more than $100 and still don’t give something to my pet? No thank you!

We love Lionel in grooming! He treated my lab with such kindness and my pup came back so fresh, clean, and with short nails! I see some negative reviews but I had one of the best experiences today!

Everything is priced incorrectly. Went to buy a frog setup for my daughter's. They had some pre packaged ones and a store brand pre packaged set up. Went to purchase and it was like 3 times more expensive then advertised. The manager James was no help. Gave me the incorrect phone number ti corporate. I have filed complaints with videos to weights and measures, BBB, and their corporate officesUpdate: the response you have given is invalid. Incorrec pricing and utilizing bait and switch tactics goes against federal and texas laws for deceptive trade practices. Advertising bundles like this and then not honoring the price is not ok. Your generic response instead of taking action is not ok either. We will see what the BBB and attorney general of texas has to say about the matter
