My first couple days were not the best. I was transfer from one public storage to another. Thinking that was the same rules ,for my surprise it wasn't. The first storage closes at 9:30pm and the one I move to it closes at 6:pm. I was put on a stressful situation because of the difference of time. Which I received 2 email calling my attention for disrespecting the rules. The other issue is you don't have an office or live personal is all machine and you can't hardly hear what the person is telling you. And worst situation is the Climate Control is suppose to be cool and I was dripping hot inside the unite. There are cameras and codes to get in and is quiete . So I thing that's a thumbs up.

No one is ever here. I've come three times to the office location so I can my lock cut off and no one is here. Calling doesn't work. Using the chat doesn't work. Worst storage location in Katy.

Amazing service from Kyle at 1130 S. Mason Rd. He answered all my questions, was quick to set me up with my storage rental, and even walked me to it to show me where it was. He did all this with a smile on his face. Its so refreshing to get that type of service these days.

Gina was very professional as well as accommodating a nice convenient affordable storage in a short notice. Thank you again Gina & public storage. I recommend this location for your belongings for climate control.

Be aware that the 9-6 hours are not, as a rational person would expect, the office hours. Those are the hours in which you can access your unit. So, if you have a job - you can never access your unit. Apparently this is a storage facility for unemployed people only.

Rats and Roaches need I say more. Found rat droppings all over the unit. We occupied two different units and both had threm. Even found where a hole had been chewed in a bag and some contents pulled out. Only stored random household items that should not attract rodents. Also, you can't access your unit after 6pm which makes it difficult to go to after work. The Public Storage phone app did not work to open the gate most of the time. There is also only one cart for the entire facility to share. If you ever need to speak to an employee, it will not be in person, but through a kiosk video chat. Our units never got broken into like we had heard about, so that was a plus......I guess.

Shout out to Gina at 1130 S. Mason in Katy. She's one of those managers everybody in the storage unit business loves! She worked with me on a tough unit, was always available and shares a genuine interest for PS and it's buyers. I saw her treat everybody else the same, too. Thanks, again, Gina.
