The rooms smelled like MOLD very strong the front desk receptionist was accommodating but I will never book this hotel and would not recommend anyone staying here because of how bad the smell is!!!!!

Nice bed, clean room but the ac was so loud it kept waking me up. The real kicker was the hallway has no soundproofing and echoes terribly so I heard every noise and word of people outside in the middle of the night. I have never experienced this before in other hotels and at one point, there were people talking for almost 30 minutes... at 5 AM!

The hotel is clean and location is near restaurants and freeway. Plan on not eating the breakfast or drinking the coffee, both were awful. The front desk person was unfriendly and I was refused shampoo (which housekeeping didn't replenish on day two). I was only able to get a bottle after contacting Expedia and having the Expedia rep call the hotel. The room was clean, but not very comfortable. The sheets were rough, thin and cheap and had a strong and unpleasant smell from the laundry detergent. There were only 3 pillows on the King bed and no comforter (there was a thin blanket between two sheets). The dirty ironing board was hung on the wall next to the window and desk and not in the closet. Housekeeping took our towels the second morning and did not replace them or replenish the shampoo. It took 3 phone calls to the front desk and one call to Expedia to get them to bring us shampoo.

The staff is just horrible with customer service. At check-in they didn't give my husband a total, didn't ask how he wanted to pay and just charged the card on file without asking first, and didn't even provide him with a receipt. Then they sounded inconvenienced when he asked for a receipt.

Please DO NOT stay here!!! Maids will steal your items & the day manager WILL over charge you and try scamming you. We stayed here for weeks and the price always change if you aren’t paying online. He charges a different fee for dogs everyday & they DON’T deal with the bugs. Roaches stayed in my room every other night and they made me buy them bug spray that they never reimbursed me for. Idk what else to say but my stay was HORRIBLE!

It is a clean hotel, and I saw the maids every morning cleaning out the rooms and even changing the bed sheets. When I got to my room, it was clean, but long black hair was in my tub. It grossed me out. I called the front desk and was told the cleaners were gone for the day. It was 4 pm. The front lady said she would take of it. She never did. Luckily the hotel is located with retail stores and restaurants within walking distance (best location)I went and got Clorox wipes and tilex with bleach and paper towels. I cleaned my bathroom. The front desk so turned me off. Not only did she not help me with my issue front desk had no idea what they were doing and were unprofessional.Some of the guests look a little shady, and a couple of nights, they had people yelling and slamming doors around 2 am.This hotel is good if you do not want to pay a lot of money and are visiting for a couple of days with a group of friends, not a family. It's not the Ritz!

Extremely unprofessional and disgusting place. The hotel itself is clearly quickly and cheaply thrown together - I guess to be expected for the price. However, the true issue is the horrific staff and management.I was woken up at 1:30 in the morning by a man trying to break into my room. He tells me I did not pay for the room, despite them having a card on file, my employer having another room here thru the weekend, and having clarified the change in my stay at the front desk the day before. The hostile manager then proceeds to yell at me over the phone that we did not pay. Suddenly awakened and shocked and terrified, I confirmed my card info, and he left. I travel regularly for my work, and I have never in my life dealt with anything so awful.To be woken up at 1:30 am by banging on the door and some strange man breaking into my room because they once again messed up my reservation and couldn’t find card info? To be yelled at over the phone by the supposed manager? Meanwhile I’ve been here almost 2 weeks, my employer has another room here as well.This is how you treat your guests? Unbelievable. Do not give them your money.

We checked into this room earlier this afternoon. There was one single luggage cart for the whole building. We got our room (205) and it smells STRONGLY of cigarettes, though it is supposed to be no smoking. The TV signal is a joke. It goes out every few minutes. I called the front desk and the man who answered asked me if I turned the tv off and back on, then told me “we’re on the same signal (???) and have the same problem.” I asked what can be done for this. He said he didn’t know what to tell me. The floor is also very poorly swept/vacuumed in a corner. This place is a laughable joke & a scam. Do NOT utilize this place. *edit to say there are also no lamps in this room and the best that “management” can do is say “Sorry for the inconvenience” as a response instead of offering to fix the issues. 0/5 stars if possible*

Staff was friendly. The price was very reasonable. Cable tv worked well. Breakfast was good. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Both worked well. Spacious parking lot.

Rooms are nice enough and very clean probably just missing some pictures on the walls and lamps with warm color lightbulbs. Full showers with nice granite looking walls but the internet is the slowest I have seen since dialup.Literality 3.5 mbs too 4.5 mbs Hughes Net is faster and that is the slowest internet out there.

THE MANAGER CUSSED AT MY 12 YEAR OLD SON I booked Red Lion Inn and Suites in Katy at 25633 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Texas, for March 13 to 17, 2022. On March 15, 2022, at approximately 9:00 p.m., my 12 year old son, took two room keys down to the front desk, to get them working again. Apparently, the hotel makes you take your room keys to the front desk every day, to "re-activate," them, for each day you are there. I do not understand why they do this. I was not with my son when he went to the front desk. The manager was already cussing at the staff, and my son walked up to get the two room keys "re-activated." He then said to my son, "This is your fu*king last card," and "This is your 10th card." The next day, I asked my son who he spoke to. We approached the front desk at around 11:00 a.m., and spoke to the front desk attendant who was there the night before, and who saw this. I asked this attendant what his name was. He told me "Ricky," and then I asked for his last name. He told me "G." I asked for his full last name, and he did not respond. I asked again, and he said "Gary." I then asked who the manager was the night before who was there, who spoke to my son. "Ricky Gary," stated it was a manager by the first name of "Miller." Ricky stated he didn't know "Miller"'s last name. The other front desk attendant there, stated he didn't know "Miller"'s last name. In my experience, if people aren't willing to give you their name, they are shady, or up to something. I don't know if "Ricky Gary," is the attendant's first name, nor do I know if the manager's name he gave me, is "Miller." All I know, is that a manager wearing gold chains and Gucci shoes, cussed at my son. It is incredibly bad behavior to cuss at a stranger's children. I am very upset over this incident.
