Despite being pricier, I have used Safelite for several replacements and chip repairs over the past 10 years. This last time I had a small, tiny chip. I should have taken my chances with it and left it alone. I took it to their shop where they ran the small chip into a crack half way up my windshield. They will not offer any kind of solution or resolution. Not even meet you half way. You can call corporate and sit on hold for 30 min and no one will ever return your call. This company needs to go. They have "better than industry" and blah blah...... well they ruined a windshield and I will need to file a claim now. Terrible terrible loyalty and service, so disappointed. Avoid like the plague......

Horrible customer service! Stay away from this location!!!!We brought our Audi Q5 for a windshield repair back in May this year. The first time, they fixed it but a week later, the rear view mirror fell off because the glue wouldn't stick since they used the original glue so we had to go back. The second time, they ordered the wrong windshield and let me know after I got home from Uber so I had to go back. And the third time, they were able to use new glue on the new windshield but the service tech scratched our LED screen on the dashboard (see pic for reference). This is NOT OK! Not to mention, we spent over $100 combined in Uber fees for each trip because Safelite doesn't provide any trips to and from their location!We complained to the manager and he apologized and said they had to order a new LED screen from Germany and said it would be about 5-6 weeks. He also said he's going to try to compensate for our entire windshield replacement (~$800) so that's why we're so patient. Guys... It's now October! And we have been calling Katy location every 3 weeks but it goes straight to voicemail. What's going on over there? I finally found the Safelite CS number and now they're mediating my dispute over the LED screen. The lady at the front desk said they need to contact multiple vendors and get quotes and find the cheapest one for the LED installation... it's still not fixed today smhEvery time I step into our car, it's the biggest eye sore and I get frustrated just by looking at it. I would give this location a 0 rating if possible...

Quoted $950 with no other charges mentioned when signed in. Total cost $1,540 because of cost to calibrate systems and recycle, which we listed in option I chose so should have been in quote (deceptive pricing). First drive in rain today identifies that wipers don't clear driver's side and rain sensor not working. Everytime I call and transfer to queue, it rings twice and hangs up on me. Completely farcical service. I now have a dangerous vehicle as can't see in rain and there is no way to contact them to schedule rectification.

Took 2 barely noticeable chips in my windshield and turned them into 2 cracks. Sucks because now my options are to live with it or pay a deductible to replace my windshield.

Never again ... I dare you to try and simply call the Katy location. They don't want your calls, they want your money. In response to your response, how do we find out if a cancellation has been made at the last minute in order to get a windshield replaced with you guys? I went to the glass doctor on a Saturday morning and I scheduled it Friday afternoon. Much better customer service for me

Service is thorough. Not cheap, but cry once and forget about it. Love their lifetime warranty. I just had my windshield replaced and have not being to a carwash nor experienced rain, but if something comes up they guarantee their work.

Safelite repaired a chip on my vehicle which lasted about 6-8 months. Trying to find the correct number to call for warrantee repair was a nightmare. There support number listed online just gives you the run around and disconnects every time. Had to open a chat online which they provided a different number to call.Reported problem and scheduled a warrantee window replacement. It took 1 week to get an open window to get car into service. The shop called me the day before the appointment to tell me they couldn't get my windshield. They explained that they could not source the part and I would have to call a classics shop to get a window replacement. Mind you, my car is far from classic. I own a 2011 Infiniti. The Safelite shop basically told me they couldn't do anything with my car. And now I'm stuck with a broken windshield.I made 1 call to another shop after this and lo and behold they did have it in stock.I will never trust Safelite to work on any of my future vehicles.Thanks for nothing,Felipe

NO NO NO STORE ! They installed a wrong glass on our car for the left rear door and later on we realized it wasn’t the glass that supposed be installed and tried to convince them they messed up our car and we would them to fix the issue, finally they set up a meeting and replaced the glass again but they also opened a second claim on our insurance and didn’t even bother to let us know that they would charge us for fixing their own mistakes.

**DO NO TRUST THE SERVICE**I would never use their service again. I would give them a "0" rating. No responsibility and no accountability. I had a glass repair requested through my insurance and a Safelite professional (don't want to ruin the professional career mentioning his name) tried to repair it. The crack was <0.5inch, the professional came and made it worse (~8inch crack). He simply mentioned, you have to replace it and just left. He has absolute "0" accountability. Called the Safelite customer service and they are horrible, they said they do not have responsibility since I signed the waiver. It ended up from a simple glue fix to replacement of the windshield and I have to pay my deductible for the replacement.

To begin with, I initially contacted your company for window replacement services in May and I am still dealing with a simple window replacement. While I understood that the replacement would take 2-3 hours to ensure completion, I never anticipated the level of inconvenience and frustration that would follow. I informed Barry the assistant manager the front chrome molding to my vehicle had gaps and was not installed correctly. He brushed me off and replied " that's how it's supposed to be we have to let it dry. The next morning on my way to work the wind breaks it in half. Regrettably, I have been forced to endure a total of six visits to my home in order to get the service completed, which has caused me to miss numerous days of work.The constant need for revisiting window replacement not only disrupted my work schedule but also inconvenienced me and my family on multiple occasions. This repeated lack of attention to detail and failure to complete the job in a timely manner is wholly unacceptable. It is clear that the level of professionalism and competence I expected from your company was not upheld.I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise during any project, but the number of visits required to complete a seemingly straightforward window replacement is indicative of a lack of proper planning and execution on your part. It is disheartening to have to endure such inconvenience and take time off from work due to repeated oversights and delays.You have lost me as a customer and I will report you to my insurance agency since Alicia (Manager) is not returning my calls nor taking my walk ins to remove you as a preferred window replacement company. No one should have to experience what I did with Safelite.

Poorly installed windshield crating stresses points because of installation. Not a warranty when they damage the car. Left for two days. Install manager Joel contacted and agreed that there were issues with lack of experience. Rear view camera wires hanging and now returned with hanging wires after warranty repair. Safelight states that it’s ok just being it back it’s under warranty.

Set up appointment online for June 22, 2023. I dropped off my vehicle for front windshield replacement and headed off in a $50 Uber to a meeting. While in the Uber I received a call from Safelite stating I ordered the wrong windshield online. My response was how could that be when I did not choose the windshield. I stated I provided Safelite my VIN number and they chose the windshield for me. The rep said he would check on this and call me back. A few minutes later I received a call back stating that yes he input the VIN and their system was showing the incorrect windshield and the issue was on their end. He told me to just come back and pick up my car. I explained I’m in a $50 Uber to a meeting and I need this windshield replaced. Rep said he would call the dealer and try and get the windshield from them. Safelite rep called me back a few minutes late stating dealer did not have the windshield and that they must get the windshield from San Antonio. Moments later I called dealer and they stated they had the windshield in stock. These folks are complete scammers and liars!! Hours later I Uber back to safelite and pick upMy vehicle. I am asking them when do i bring my vehicle back for the replacement. I am told manager will call me by tomorrow with the date. It’s been almost a week later and still I have heard nothing.Do not use Safelite!! They are crooks!! They will waste your time!! Not give you any answers!! Continually delay and delay!! Promises made and never kept!!
