I just picked up a dozen donuts to take to my family who are in town from out of state, after bragging about how good Shipley's was and the donuts are terrible. I bought a mixed dozen. They taste like they are from yesterday's batch. They are the worst Shipley donuts I've ever tasted and I'm throwing the whole box away. What a waste of money. Why are they so small and dry? I guess the only place I'll buy Shipley donuts is the original location on Ella.

This is perhaps one of the worst Shipley stores in the Houston area suburbs. I visited this store twice. The poor quality of service is simply inexcusable. The store has this foul smell, and the attendants in both instances are not properly trained, struggled to redeem my Shipley rewards, and could not speak English. After keeping me waiting for nearly 20 mins and speaking to someone on the phone for assistance, the attendant still could not check me out. She insisted that I make a purchase before she could redeem my free Shipley reward. I told her that's not the case because I have redeemed my Shipley rewards countless times in other stores without having to make a purchase if I don't need to. She refused to proceed with my transaction and could barely communicate her decision in English. Bottomline: I don't recommend this store to anyone and won't patronize them going forward.

There was a cockroach walking on the donuts and when I told the associate, she pretended she's not hearing me and just pushed it away. She acted as I was seeing things!

It’s this location or Shipleys has gone down the drain. The donuts was cold and maybe even old. The kolache was okay, the donut shop done the street is better. Kinda

Note, I’m a fan of Shipley’s donutsThis is a pretty small Shipleys donuts where they probably have five tables total and 12 chairs or so they do have a nice outdoor patio although it is right next to Katie Freeway so it’s not the most quiet of outdoor locations. The staff was all friendly and more than willing to help out .

Bord and raised in Houston and Lord knows I love me some Shipley's. I usually go to the one on Ella and 34th. So I took a chance and was like "lemme stop real quick and grab me some donuts". When I tell you them kolaches were the SMALLEST ever!! I took two bites and that kolache was gone. And THEN to make matters worse, the donuts weren't even warm. Who eats cold donuts? Not me. Idk but they need to step there game up. OG .

Fantastic food and service with a smile. No bathroom in the store though.

If you have a sweet tooth then this is the place. I love their kolaches, especially the jalapeño cheese. The apple fritter is always great. A great selection. Coffee too.

I was a little apprehensive about visiting this location because of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, the worker greeted us and waited patiently as we tried to decide what donuts we would pick. We got glazed donuts, chocolate frosted, strawberry frosted and every donut was soft and fresh.

Stopped by and got a half dozen and a sausage kolache. Great fresh donuts and fresh kolache. Good service as well. Will stop by again when I’m in the area

Went to get a donut at 1 o'clock in the afternoon and they had no donuts but they're open until eight. What are you selling?
